I don't think this has been mentioned before but when we traded Parkey (the kicker) for the running back maybe this was a scratch my back and I'll scratch yours type deal. We cut the running back so we gained nothing and the Eagles didn't have to wait to see if the Parkey cleared waivers up until their turn. 

 

So I think this means that the Eagles will trade a guy to us that they were going to cut anyway for someone we plan on cutting.

 

Makes sense to me, hopefully they have someone Grigson likes.

No, I think we got Fluellen, and they got Parkey, and that's the mutual back scratching. I don't think we'd have agreed to take Fluellen and carry him on our roster, past first cuts, if we didn't actually want him.
