i dont think people understand the impact of the running game. If we cant run, teams know were gonna only throw because we have no run game. Its why the Patriots intercepted Luck like 7 times. If we mixed the game like they do, we woulda won...

If anything positive can be taken is that we have a lot of depth behind DT and Ballard was only likely our #3.  

 

We've not yet lost a player that doesn't have much depth behind him.

Agreed. The way I look at it, those two were added bonuses if they could go. We're still in a heck of a lot better shape than last year.

Ehh yes and no.  If I remember right we actually came out of camp last year with no season ending injuries.  But we got a bunch of them in the first 3 weeks of the season with Allen, Ballard, Bradshaw, and DT and then in week 8 we lost Wayne.

 

So are we better off now then we where at the end of last season. . . yes.  But by comparison with where we where at this point last season, we might not be.  Because I am pretty sure we didn't have any season enders in camp last season.  But we did get several big ones in the first 3 weeks.
