Mock with trades

  • Colts trade Bjorn Werner to dallas because they lost spencer and ware for the 47th overall pick. Ward is a versatile cover safety something colts looked for last season in Landry.

Indianapolis Colts 59: Jordan Matthews WrIndianapolis-Colts.png

Very good receiver and with Hilton, Wayne and Nicks he can get god mentoring

Indianapolis Colts 90: DaQuan Jones DTIndianapolis-Colts.png

Hybrid NT/DT nice in our system

Indianapolis Colts 104: Jaylen Watkins CBIndianapolis-Colts.png

Colts trade darick rogers to jets for their 4th round pick. Jaylen is a good number 2 corner and can help with toler's injuries

Indianapolis Colts 107: Christian Jones ILBIndianapolis-Colts.png

Colts trade their 3rd round pick of 2015 for the 4th round pick of the raiders.

Indianapolis Colts 166: Michael SamIndianapolis-Colts.png

We will get media but this guy has nice edge rushes and fits a 3-4 system

Indianapolis Colts 203: Brandon Thomas OGIndianapolis-Colts.png

He would be value here especially as 2-4 round prospect before injury

232: Silas Redd RB

He was a projected 4th rounder until injury

makes no sense why would we trade young building block players like werner (although i'm not a big fan of rogers) i would like to make trades but there has to be other ways to get more picks btw like getting DaQuan Jones not a fan of drafting micheal sam not because he's gay don't care bout that i don't think he has legitimate talent he had a terrible combine and overall doesnt impess me

Are you kidding me?

Rogers for a 4th round pick

Bjoern Werner for a 2nd round pick

Going to have to add more to the trade for the Raiders 4th(a high 4th), our 3rd next year by itself(most likely a late 3rd pick) isn't enough to get that trade done, probably would have to add this years 5th or 6th with it.

C'mon man even you don't even believe those trades would work.

If we were to trade Werner, and I would not do that, we would need to draft an OLB much earlier.  Losing Werner, who did struggle early but improved as the season went on, would give us zero proven depth behind Walden and Mathis.

I would take an OLB early in this draft (2nd or 3rd) even with having Werner.

I like Matthews a lot but the only way I'd take him in the 2nd is if the 2nd round graded OLB's, S's, CB's and OG's are already off the board.  I might take Matthews over a OG, just depends on which OG it is.

I'd take Matthews over any Guard in the draft with the possible exception of Gabe Jackson...........And it would be an extremely slim chance I would take Jackson over Matthews

I'd leave that up to the way Grigson sets his board.  I don't "scout" OL players so I can't say with any conviction which OG's I would or wouldn't take over Matthews.

Why not trade our 2015 first round for Jimmie Ward?

It whould be better than trade Werner!

Ward would have to fall to around the middle of round 2 to be able to do a straight up trade with only our 2015 first round pick.
