Ricardo Mathews signs with Texans

Info signing

This is such an overstated and unlikely reason to sign a player at this point in the off season. The far more reasonable theory is that they have a need and he may be able to help Houston and not just when they play the colts

Dear God...

1) A player does not have to be JJ Watt to help the Houston defense.

2) With all the film that teams have on each other, seriously how much is there for them to find out?

After 6000+ posts I would think you would have better insight.

This isn't the first time players get signed by a rival. Titans did it for years

When digging yourself a hole, stop digging.

The entire league does it every year. It is called the off season. The overwhelming # 1 reason teams sign another team's former players is because they are trying to build their own roster.

good point

Really? Seems like a pretty common sense point to me.

I'm glad Matthews is gone, simply because I once told him to "get better" thinking he was injured at the time. He gave me a really snide look, and I found it he wasn't injured, just didn't see the field much. :x
