 Not really, there are a ton of 5'8-5'11 speedsters that dominate college. Look at this years draft class: Odell Beckham Jr, Brandon Cooks, Jarvis Landry, Jeremy Gallon,  Robert Herron, etc...

 

There will always be a place for guys like Hilton, Jackson, Austin, etc...But speed seems to be increasing with size as the players are evolving. Allen Robinson is almost 6'3 and improved his 40 time to a 4.47

And now Green-Beckham has been KICKED OFF the Missouri team!!

 

He's no longer suspended.   He's off.   Apparently for good.

 

The school is publicly saying they want DGB to get professional help.    And it sounds like the kid admits he needs help.
