Really?  I'm a fan of the guy...I mean, 6th round or lower.  I wish I could remember who else was there.  But once you get to the 6/27...its' like like 3/4 RBs/WRs/DTs, and the rest are guys that will be there with the 7/17.  But a guy that nets me a bad score that I really would take here is OLB Howard Jones.  I wouldnt' care if we had Van Noy.  I think this kid is going to be a sleeper pick.  Really like that kid.

I haven't watched Howard Jones. I'll add him to my list.

I don't dislike picking Norwood in the 6th, I just don't want him. He'd just languish on our roster. I'd rather sign Cody Hoffman as a UDFA and stick him on the practice squad. Or draft someone like Dri Archer or D'Anthony Thomas who would be a big weapon on special teams.

Deandre Coleman might be a good pick at 6/27, or maybe a NT prospect like Ryan Carrethers? Avery Williamson is an ILB prospect I like there. Like you say, they're all kind of a mish-mash at that point.

Yep. Wouldn't mind any of those guys either. As far as ST returners, I don't even really know what they look for. It seems like you just pick a fast guy and hope u get lucky.

D'Anthony Thomas didn't test as well as I expected him to, but he had a ton of production as a returner in college. I think that's the key, more than anything else, because being fast doesn't equate to being a good returner. He and Archer were both electric at times, and both can play somewhere on offense as well, if necessary.

I don't know if we'll go that route; we have a pretty full shelf for WRs and RBs right now, but there's room in camp, for sure. My favorite scatback is Jerick McKinnon, who is probably a fifth round prospect. But he didn't return in college, so that limits his value to our team. If Bradshaw or Ballard has a setback or isn't 100%, he can carry the rock, no problem.

Thomas improved at his pro day.  I know people make a bigger deal out of 40 times than they should, but he clocked an unofficial 4.34 and 4.35, which I would think as a specialist, you couldn't ignore given his college production as returner.

I've been a fan of McKinnon as well.  Like you, I don't know if we go that route, but I wouldn't be terribly disappointed if we took an all around, quick back who we would use in several positions to utilize his playmaking ability and get him into space (I'm thinking like Julian Edelman).

I was wondering how you accomplished that.  I've been able to trade a 2015 1st round for the #26 overall like you.  But the best guys I've been able to get there is Calvin Pryor and CJ Mosley.  Once I was able to trade for I believe the 23rd pick (2015 first round and 6th round pick) and picked up Taylor Lewan who slipped that far.  But dont' know if that would work under the new system.

So, this was weird.  When it first started out, I wanted to trade back and get an early 3rd and 4th round.  Didn't even look to see was available.  The best option was to drop back 4 spots and pick up a late 4th rounder.  To my surprise, Gabe Jackson was still there...and then Jordan Matthews.  Not sure the Colts would want to pick up an OL with their 2nd round pick (and I wasnt' even sure I did either, but went with it anyway).  Oh, and the 6/27 I was able to drop back 2 spots nad pick up the 7/7 as well.  Forget the grade, I kinda like this draft even if I highly doubt we'd go OG and WR with our first 2 picks.

Had to share this one with you all.  Couldn't believe Sua'Filo was there with the 2/27.  Did like 3 double checks to make sure I was actually on my pick.  Went for high score.  #5 overall baby!!  Well, for Colts high scores anyway lol.

Now #1.  Just goes to show that the scoring on this doesn't really result in a good draft.  Wha'ts weird is I couldn't even crack the list of top 20 for anything under the old system.  Makes me wonder how they actually graded it.  Under the new one, you just have to get lucky.

lol me either.  The game gets rather boring after you get a high score.  I like it better when there's guys I actually want to draft available (although, I would take Xavier, just probably not with our first pick).

I traded next year's #1 for a 2nd and 2 thirds and then used 2 late round 3rds to trade up in the third for McGill and a 4th round pick.  And yeah, Bullough was a reach but Preston Brown went a couple picks ahead of me and I didn't care about trying to trade down to just the right spot to get Bullough so I just went with it. :D

I would be very happy if we got this. The only guy I missed on that I really really want is Exum. I think he is going to be a steal in this years draft played all over the place but settled in at CB last year. Really Brooks at 232???

R2
S DEONE BUCANNON
WASHINGTON STATE
            - One-stop-shopping for an enforcer with ball skills in coverage
R3
G TRAI TURNER
LSU
                      - He'll never be here this late, but this would be some steal.  With guards, ya never know.
R5
DT DEANDRE COLEMAN
CALIFORNIA
        - D-Line depth and stuff the run
R6
CB RICARDO ALLEN
PURDUE
               - You can always find good corners as priority FA's but this guy has major potential
R7
RB DAVID FLUELLEN
TOLEDO

- Realistic pick here, as they always take a late RB flyer (Kerwynn Williams 2012) and they've had a close eye on Fluellen

* WRs come a dime a dozen post draft, and with Dwayne Allen back the receiving corps will feast on bewildered defenses.  Watch for Da'Rick Rodgers to break out this year.  Next year's first rounder can serve as Reggie's heir apparent.

lol....this one was fun.  Wonder what my score would have been without the huge reach for Huff?  Also, just for the record, I had no intention of drafting 3 OLB's, but Lawrence was far and away the BPA at pick 6 in the 4th round.

It's possible. Deone Bucannon is rising up on a lot of analysts boards. If he goes higher, than Ward could drop. I think the main thing is hoping he makes it past the Ravens in round 2.

59 S DEONE BUCANNON

WASHINGTON STATE

90 G TRAI TURNER

166 DT DEANDRE COLEMAN

CALIFORNIA

203 ILB PRESTON BROWN

LOUISVILLE

Round 6 Pick 27: Terrance Mitchell, CB, Oregon (A)
Round 7 Pick 17: De'Anthony Thomas, RB, Oregon (B)

Really like both of these drafts although certain players won't be there, like De'Anthony Thomas in the 7th, and Demarcus Lawrence in the third. I would also look at trading into the 4th at some point which didn't happen in either drafts.

Ugh I need the draft to happen so I stop doing mock drafts haha. This is my first with a trade (a highly unrealistic trade at that) Traded our 2nd rounder and SF gave us Rd 3 pick 13, Rd 3 pick 30 and Rd 4 pick 29. It got my highest score. No way do 3/4 of these guys fall that far but it was pretty cool seeing them there when it was my pick.
