You are correct. The Redskins got their revenge though by beating the greatest team in NFL history, the '42 Bears, in the championship game and spoiling their perfect season. (if anyone wants to dispute the greatest team then show me another who averaged a 27 point differential. They only lost the championship because Coach Halas and half of the defense, which had allowed only 7 points a game, had left for World War II).
