Is anybody thinking about getting the colts as a second fantasy defense because of the fact were facing the Raiders and their atrocious offensive line. Our guys could have a field day..

Don't knock it til you try it..its a lot harder than it looks..and your salary cap goes up or down, depending on the players performance..as long as you have trades left, you can replace anyone at any time...and players salaries are based on last year's performance.. You can buy more trades during the year, as you start week 1 with 3 trades, and accumulate 1 trade per week. You only get 35 mil to start, you have 2 QB's 2 RB's 2 WR/TE and a team D and return yards count in individual stats...The elite QB's like Brees and Rodgers are like 12-14 million each..so filling out your beginning roster is hard to do..For example..I took Brees and EJ Manuel (3.25 mil salary)..as more players pick up Manuel,, his salary goes up..so its good to find sleepers at different positions..

You can think what you like to think..and that's your opinion...but like I said..its a lot harder than it looks..last year I was in the 96th percentile out of all players in the league..and they give out money prizes to the top teams of the week and year...Its initially free to play, but you can buy trades for around 99 cents per trade, if you so desire..I have won my league 3 years in a row...I just join a random league, preferably in a league with other Colt fans..Its just another way to enjoy fantasy football...

I've played in a for a few years, didn't last year. Personally, I don't like it, it's tough, but that's not the reason. It's just a bit weird. Play fantasy football instead.

It's not stupid though.

salary cap fantasy league? thats so stupid

Now why would you insult someone on something you obviously know zero about? So just because you never played it you think it is stupid? Salary cap FFL is run in a sense more like a real football team. You team is not put together going up against other owners that  make bad choices in turn making your team better. I have been playing FFL for over 20 years and think I know a little something about all the different types of that game. It's sad you feel the need to pass out an insult on a subject you obviously know little about. This thread is not put here for your personal attacks on other members.

Calling out another member by calling what he does stupid is what? Let me hear your explanation? It's poster like me?? I do not openly insult anyone's personal choices on what they do.

I always use the defense based on the offense they're playing.

Colts D week 1 is a safe bet. I picked the Colts D up.

Forget it. If what you said needs to be explained I would be wasting my time anyway. I would just prefer no more comments from you to me personally. I will not be commenting on any of your post. Now you have a great day.

    • Position Depth Comfort Level
It speaks volumes that you only got down to position 5 before my initial reaction was 'oh my God'.   4 position groups where I'm generally happy - including Special Teams and a O-Line that was an apparent weak point last year and has only had a rookie center brought into the starting group. Eek!

    • Colts' Scouts: What they liked about LeRaven Clark....
No products are really finished coming out of college but their are more polished products than Clark coming out of college at his position and what I saw while watching him is a player that was a 4th-5th round O Lineman
    • Colts' Scouts: What they liked about LeRaven Clark....
I know. By my compliment I was simply saying (Obviously unclearly) that I thought he went a round to early at least. I know how the draft works. Really I do

Just curious.....    do you know the story of 2015 OT DJ Humphrey from Florida?   He was drafted by Arizona in the 1st round last year.     And he did not play a single snap in 2015.    In fact,  he didn't even dress for a single game.     He was on the 53 man roster --- no way around that, if he wasn't he be snapped up by another team if he was on the practice squad --- but he sat on the sidelines for all 16 games.   And here's the deal --- it was specifically by DESIGN.    That was Arizona's plan.    They knew that Humphrey got poor coaching in college.    But he had tools you simply can't teach.    So, they red-shirted him for a year and the goal is that he starts this year.     Will it work?     I don't know,  but I hope so.    I'm rooting for Humphrey,  for Arians, who clearly signed-off on the idea -- and for the Cardinals for being so forward thinking.   That brings us to Clark.   He doesn't have the same measurables that Humphrey has.    He has MORE qualities, BETTER qualities.    Height, weight, speed,  arm length, hand size,  Wonderlic,  character --- everything you want.   And the Colts didn't have to spend a 1st round pick on him.    We got him in the 3rd, 82nd overall.   I'm not a religious person,  but God doesn't make many men with the traits that Clark has.    Those traits alone make him a top-100 pick ---- easily.     Seriously.    The hope is that two, three years from now we all look back and think....    "what a steal"...    There are not enough finished products coming out of college these days.   They're not taught the pro game very well.     NFL teams have to find the best athletes and players,  and coach them up.     That's what makes the Clark pick so interesting.     We might strike gold.     And we might not.....    But that's the NFL these days.   Whether any of us likes it or not.....

Hello my Name is Robin. And i'm from Denmark. even though i've been member on this forum for a long time, and the old one as well. I would like to Introduce myself. I became a Colts fan in 2007, when I watched my first NFL game. My brother introduced me to NFL, the superbowl between Colts & Bears, And as we all know the Bears scored first, so I had to rude for the "underdogs".. and from that day on I was hooked. I've watched every game since, even the primetime games, that starts 2:30 in Denmark, it's a long day working with no sleep but damn its worth it. Can't wait for my next big Colts adventure, when I get to see them playing in London

I have been a fan since 1984 when I became an early teen and really started to understand the game. Colts moved to Indianapolis in 1984 and eventhough we stunk for a while, things obviously got better. We traded for Dickerson in 1987 and won the Division, then we had Harbaugh's magical season in 1995, the Peyton ERA where winning 12 games was a piece of cake + winning a SB in 2006, now the Andrew ERA where we have already had 3 11 win seasons and a deep Playoff run.
