Andrew Luck interview on ESPN - Colin Cowherd

Recommended Posts

He's still not a great interview...   but he's pretty straight forward....   he is who is he is and he's comfortable with himself which always helps...

But....   he's an amazingly talented person and player and I think the Cots' fans are going to love watching him in the years to come...!!

I like the way he answers the questions, straight, without the expected cliche' answers.

Example, like when he was asked what life lessons he got from Jim Harbaugh, or, when he was asked if he had a revelation type of moment during the season.

Anyone else catch the spelling error on the link? At the top of the page, it mentions that ESPN Audio "Is brought yo you by" 1-800-Flowers. Way to go ESPN!

There's a slight possibility he's related to Colonel Hans von Luck, who among many other feats, defended Cleopatra's Bath at the Libyan oasis of Siwa from the British in 1942.

Oh, well that's a good relation. At least it's to someone of some relevance. It's better than my original guess....Lucky Charm! haha

Did you purposefully misspell "did" in your last post regarding misspellings? If not, then you gotta love the irony.

In no way does John Banner ( Sgt. Schultz ) resemble Andrew Luck. Andrew never went into the huddle and say "I know nothing!"

He cracks me up because he has such a goofy, nerdy laugh.  And he always says "Yeah, no" when answering things.

His ahhh welll too!

Happened upon this while driving home from school.

I don't know the exact time limits, but I think each poster has roughly 10-15 minutes to change their post after it's made.   Then, it's permanent.   You're stuck with it, unless you appeal to the moderator to alter it for what reason you offer....

I often scramble back to make changes at the last minute....    sometimes I'm successful, and other times....  well...  not so much.....

Well, if you all took a bit more care when doing your original posts, you would never need to go back and use the edti feature....

ALuck is down to earth, forthcoming with answers, open for criticism, generous with praise of others, and quick to deflect praise of himself. As a leader of our team, his demeanor is fresh, rare, and consistent.

However, if he ever shares what he truly feels towards a defender who has just intercepted his pass, look out because his image might become altered. ;)

I like how he answers the questions in the interviews he does. He's straight up. He thinks about his answer and tells it like it is. It's good that he never is in character, he's just himself. Let's just say I'm glad we drafted him, I mean...who isn't?

    •   So can we be honest for a minute? I think we underestimated Melvin. I, personally, didn't think Melvin would see a roster spot, much less start over Quincy Wilson, who when healthy, had blanket coverage with slight mistimed swipes to bat away the ball. I am really happy for Melvin to have made such great improvement from last year when he was getting beat by receivers constantly, always out of position to now making 2 interceptions in one game. They may have been 'lucky', but he was in position to make the pick and has definitely improved since last year.    Our secondary as a whole, we have 4 relatively new players including Melvin: Wilson, Hooker, and Hairston. Going forward, I think our secondary could be much, much better than 2016, even without Davis. Not trying to blow the same horn, but Ballard has helped our franchise take a few steps forward toward a future championship. Defense vastly improved (still needs work) and 1-2 without Luck (same as with Luck last year), I think I'm beginning to see a light near the end of the tunnel.
    • Who is Beth Nowans? Ok I am just kidding KingColt, anyway once we started to play good the announcing didn't bother me too much.
    • Lamey is easily one of the best announcers of all-time IMO.
    • The fact that he's getting extended playing time is making this deal more and more favorable for us, coupled of course with the fact that he's playing well. It was assumed at the time of the trade that he would likely be on the bench, and if he did play, it would be a week or two, at best. He's getting ready to start his third game, and might get a couple more starts after that.   And he's clearly separated himself from any other backup QB the team had this year, especially Tolzien. He's giving us a chance every week, which is what you want from a backup. He has playmaking ability, and he's earning the trust of his teammates.
    • Grew up a coach's kid and started watching game film very early in HS(I also did a little spotting as a kid) and broke down Game film and developed Offensive play charts as a coach. Since I struggled to get on the depth chart( my health) it was my way of making the team better
