cowboys at redskins thread

Peyton manning would have caught the redskins with too many men. Instead, the dumb Cowboys punt the ball in the end zone.. Do either of these teams deserve to be in the playoffs?

It's only a quarter and a half in but RG3 does not look impressive so far.

He's been off today.

He's been off today.

Not trying to bash RG3, but is part of it due to Dallas' defense? Or, is it, like you said, just an off day?

He doesn't even look like the best rookie on his own team to this point.

More so to do with him not being 100%. He is still wearing the brace...

Good point, I completely forgot about him still not being 100%. That does make quite the difference. Thanks for pointing that out!

RG3 is playing hurt no question they just point it out at half-time so no hating just stating he's not playing well but he's playing hurt.  Credit to him being out there hurt and helping his team but it's clear he's not the same player he is when he is healthy.

We all know this is a what have you done for me lately league if RG3 doesn't pick it up in the second half and with Wilson being trapped in Seattle where he doesn't get the media coverage he would if he played in an east coast city you and Luck leading the Colts to their W today you have to wonder if it might swing the vote back to Luck for Rookie of the Year.  Honestly I don't think you really object to any of those three winning the award.

Seahawks will eat either of these teams alive.

maybe the Seahawks are normally not as good on the road as they are at home and that is one long road trip for them.

I think Wilson made his case against the 49ers last night on SNF. I think 4 touchdowns against the then #1 defense kind of put him over the top.  Honestly, if I was voting, I would give it to Morris. Dude is a certified stud..

Wow Garçon dropped a ball, look at me, I'm astonished. I'm mesmerized, there is no way Garçon would ever drop a ball, never. I'm incapacitated, literally unable to move and shocked Garçon dropped a wide open pass. Just look at me.

Morris is an absolute monster, Shanahan and his ability to find, pickup and mold unbelievable runningbacks never ceases to amaze me.

This game is single handedly Alfred Morris.

Jason Garrett might be the NFL's worst playcaller. A simple screenplay on any of those 3rd downs would've resulted in an easy TD.

Harbaugh wanted a two QB system at Stanford. O.o With Griffin and Luck, and ALMOST had it!

The thing is that would have probably killed them in terms of their draft status.  Honestly it wouldn't have shocked me if RG3 wouldn't have ended up moved to another poistion.  He made the right choice in picking another school.

Dallas td, the play clock would have been negative 7 seconds and the refs didn't call delay of game. What part of Texas did you say you are from?

I want both teams to fail. Is that possible? Would a tie put Chicago as the NFC East champion?

Chicago isn't NFC east.

Watching the Redskins the two times I have this year and it's becoming clear to me that Morris is much more important to the Redskins success than he is given credit for.  Don't get me wrong I think RG3 is a truly special player but I don't think the credit is split fairly between RG3 and Morris.

It really would have. If there was one thing in the world, I would want it to be to see how different scenarios would have played out. I wonder what it would be like if they actually did that.

I have watched many Redskins games. He's been off throwing the ball, they said his knee was still tender. But the pass he just made was very crisp.

I can't believe I'm rooting Dallas. I'm sick of the RG3 hype

And just like that, he runs for a touchdown..lol

Yep, Dallas D looks like they have no idea what's going on due to the magical redskins O. The Dallas O is so stagnant I don't even think they will smell the endzone.

How in the world do you defend that?

According to everyone, it was going to get figured out halfway into the season.  *shrugs*

    • I disagree. Erik Walden is weak at the POA, can get washed by TEs, and doesnt set an edge very well at all. He does things at an average NFL level, he does nothing at a high level. Plenty of teams have difference makers at Sam OLB....Ingram, Perry, Houston, extc. No they're not easy to find, but settling for a 32 year old and not even trying to upgrade is not the answer. I dont blame any local media they got over there in Indy for calling him that. Call it like you see it. The fact that he was our best edge rush last year is pretty disturbing, and if we go into next season the same way  we'll have a total under 20 sacks again. I hate that excuse of what else are we ganna do? Who else could play better? How does any other team upgrade any position, through draft and FA. Its time, the re build has started and if Erik doesn't take a compromisable contract let him walk. No more then 5 mil/yr
