Pagano & Luck.

11 posts in this topic

Coach Chuck Pagano, a man who has filled everyone's heart with love and hope.. His fill good heart warming story caught the attention of everyone around the world. A true class act and fighter. Who wouldn't want to come to Indy and play for a guy like Chuck Pagano?

Andrew Luck, a born leader with an endless amount of talent. Possibly the best quarterback to come out of the draft since Peyton Manning. An aggressive style of play, loves throwing the ball. A great team mate and vocal leader.

Just with these two guys alone who wouldn't want to play on the same team as these two? I believe they could pursue anyone and get to sign a contract to play for this city.

Mr. Irsay.. Please get the checks ready!

Anyone you say?

How about Sam & Emmanuel Acho, Keenan Robinson, Brian Orakpo, Megatron, Patrick Peterson, Byrd from the Bills, Ngata, Quality Olineman, & Courtney Upshaw.

Get me these guys & I'll truly believe we can get "Anyone" lol

Well first off we will only be looking at FA and the Draft, and I'm sure a large amout of FA would be willing to play for the Colts but what makes it so fun is the fact that we have a good amount of money to pick up more players then we have ever seen this team go out and get. This will be a very fun offseason, but their is no reason to go after huge big name players hell we don't need them, but if we spread that money out and get a number of good starters we will have something great.

    • lol stats are the facts not an opinion which you offer and nothing else, you say he holds onto the ball to long and ribbles a lot...I showed you proof he does not. You said he Is a bad defender....Clearly he is not as the stats show. How about if I got to the previous year and pick up stats from those same categories? Are they cherry picked to? Not likely because some of them were not good so it supports your narrative that he is bad player.   Calling me stupid is pretty childish by the way...I thought you were better then that. Maybe I'm wrong?   Yes he has skills like Lebron, He can pass well, He can rebound well, He is hard to stop when attacking the basket. He has good basketball instincts on the court. Now the reason he don't put up those numbers is because he isn't as aggressive as those guys . You also forget when he put up those numbers for the Pacers it was in his second year starting. You also disregard that while his points were low with the Clippers he still shot 49.4% and 40% from 3 http://espn.go.com/nba/player/stats/_/id/4244/lance-stephenson He did not fit what the Clippers already had on offense. They to many guys dominating the ball...Crawford. Paul as should. Rivers.   And then when he got traded to the Grizzlies because Rivers wrongly thought he could not play defense he still shot 47.4% and 35% from 3 and had 14.2 points a game for them in 26.6 minutes and only 26 starts plus a double double   You even hear Buckner saying Lance found the right man on a pass and most of these passes are simple passes, Particularly for him. They also help players around him who cant create there own shot help get them an open shot (Scola, West multiple times). Now where Lance was awful at was in catch an shoot situations where he was only 35.1% in 2015 but he averaged less than 1 of those a game in 2015
    • that may be a low estimate
    • I think the jury is still out on the O-line, though I like that additions (player and coaching) that we saw in the offseason.   The bigest concern IMO is the Pass Rush.  Ideally, Mathis and Cole can have a good year and Maggitt can learn quickly.
    • Fair enough. My point really was it's much harder to win League MVP than it is SB MVP IMO. To win League MVP you have to be Great for a whole season, to win SB MVP you only have to be Great for 1 day and sometimes only Good. When Tom won SB MVP in 2001 he didn't even play Good. If I included SB MVP's, Tom would still only be up 9-8 for that 3rd criteria. I would much rather win League MVP and a SB compared to winning a SB MVP and a SB. As long as my team won the SB it wouldn't bother me at all if I didn't win SB MVP. Ben never has and nobody ever brings it up, they just talk about his 2 wins. I do think it's important to have at least 1 though just to say you won 1, hence my signature at the bottom. I noted Peyton winning 1 here.
    • http://www.todayspigskin.com/nfl-draft/pre-season-2017-nfl-mock-draft/   We picked Derek Barnett at 21, although I would've switched him with Charles Harris (at the moment) as I think he's a better scheme fit. Still and all, good player at a position of need. Interesting to see how high the running backs were projected to go!
