OROY    Luck,  Vegas thinks so too....  2 wins to 10 and counting, 1st overall QB pick to lead team to playoffs,  Rookie records galore, and 7 come from behind wins.   Is there really any doubt?

Luck 5-7

RG3 8-5

Wilson 2-1

I would not be surprised to see it split 3 ways.

DROY   Wagner

MVP     P Manning

OROY - Griffin or Wilson - Luck throwing for a ton of yards wasn't enough to sway my opinion. Just like Wilson/Griffin, Luck wasn't the ONLY reason for the Colts wins. The other two, from a QB's perspective, have just played better.

DROY - Jenkins - He's been every bit as good as advertised if not better.

OPOY - Megatron/AP - Co-Winners

DPOY - JJ Watt

CPOY - Manning/AP - Co-Winners

MVP - Manning

COY - Arians/Pagano

GMOY - Grigson

OROY is Luck . Vegas says so like Dee said and they are usually right. griffin would have to share it with his back up QB who won 2 games for him and his running back Morris who helped win the rest of their games.

MVP is Manning again.

DPOY is Watts.

OPOY is Peterson,

Coach of year is Arians/Pagano

GM is Elway for getting Peyton

I don't think RG3 can get OROY purely because the Skins won two games with Kirk Cousins, when RG3 didn't take a snap. Russell Wilson has the benefit of 'Beast Mode' in his backfield, and an epic D. No one else has had to carry their team like Luck has.

In the 10 wins for the Colts the defense has only given up an average of 18.5pts, which would be good for 4th best in the league right now. They've ALL had help in one form or another from their teammates, but even as a Colts fan, in no way can I say that Luck has outplayed either of them two from a QB perspective.

Just some historical reference material. Last year, Aaron Rodgers had a great year and won the MVP over Brees with a 48-2 vote tally.  This came when his back up came in and set a Packers record for TD passes with 6, along with nearly 500 yards.  I felt the MVP vote last year should have been closer than it was, and that's not based on Rodgers missing game but one could argue that it should have titled a few votes.

In 2003, the late Steve Mcnair shared the MVP with Manning. He missed two games. His back ups, Neil O'Donnell, & Billy Volek each started and won a game and produced at an equal to higher level of Mcnair. That fact, paired with Manning beating Mcnair/Tennessee head to head twice, and having more on his shoulders should have easily pushed the MVP to Manning and only Manning, yet it didn't happen.

Some might hold Griffin's missing time against him, but it doesn't seem like voters have done that historically.

I honestly don't get how Cousins wins 2 of their games and Griffin is the front runner for ROY. makes no sense.

Because RG3, unlike Luck and WIlson, has been playing at a consistently higher level than both Luck and Wilson.

You can say that Cousins won two games, but lets put this in perspective.  RG3 made the clutch throws on a bad leg to get the Skins in position to win that game.  Against the Ravens, Cousins threw two passes.  TWO!  And he beat the Browns, which I will give him credit for...but the Browns are the Browns.

RG3 has been the most explosive and consistent Quarterback of the rookie class

Luck is too mistake prone

And, per Pete Carol's own admission, they FINALLY let Wilson have access to the entire playbook.  No Rookie quarterback this year has been asked to do LESS than Wilson.  The Seahawks begin and end with defense.

Can any of these 3 win?  Yes

Luck has been inconsistent but clutch

Wilson limited but has caught fire recently

RG3 is in the most QB friendly offense of the three but he's been the most consistently good of the three as well.

Griffin put the Redskins in position to beat the Ravens and Cousins was playing the dastardly Browns. If you want to use weapons as a detriment, well 12 has Reggie Wayne, while, besides Pierre Garcon and Sydney Rice, I can't think of any world beaters on either the Redskins or Seahawks.

Skins won 1 game without Griff...Cousins threw 2 passes against the Ravens.  Clutch passes, sure, but two nontheless.  Special teams won the game for the skins.  Missing 1 game does not eliminate you from ROTY consideration.

Thats becuase when people are doing these votes, they have to look at the entire body of work, not bits and pieces.  It's why Wilson wont win.  Hes been GREAT at as of late, but do you just ignore his first half of the season when he wasnt really asked to do a lot?  No, you take it into account.

Do you just ignore all of Lucks interceptions?  No, you take it into account.

Do you ingnore RG3 missing the Browns game and his backup rookie quarterback playing GREAT in his absense? No you take it into account.

I disagree to an extent, Wilson's own feats, while admirable, have not raised to as lofty heights as Andrew's have. Having supporting elements around you often compensates for certain inferior talents in your game. Although Wilson has certainly impressed, he has done so with the confidence that his defense will give him many more chances in the event he falls short on a drive. In addition, his O-line is far superior to that of what Luck has in front of him. Luck's pocket-presence is astonishing and without it add another 20 sacks, 10 pressures, and 10 hits after release. Luck, on many occasions has eluded an incomplete pass while being tackled, somehow-someway, completing the pass and on most of these occasions it was a HUGE completion for 1st down or to keep a drive alive. I get your RMVP notion. Trust me when I say that I am not missing your point. But since there isn't any such thing, Luck should get this existing accolade. Luck is surrounded by 34 to 36 new Colts and hasn't looked phased by anything he has endured, and he has endured a ton in 15 games. Nothing short of amazing efforts has some of his feats displayed, and all the while he lingers in his own shortcomings (post-game). Much respect for your opinion and thoughts on Luck's outstanding accomplishments. I realize he has many interceptions and low completion %, I am not naive to this.... However, when the last light is turned off for the season at the Colts complex, Luck's contribution to the Colts' 2012 unmatched and unlikely accomplishments won't soon be forgotten.

awesome!.. great point(s)

it will be exciting to see what happens... good points by all, but I'm not sold on numbers alone...

Like for example (and it goes both ways, these guys also miss easy plays, or screw up but are bailed out by a teammate, a defensive penalty, or whatever.... I think only going off of numbers isn't the best way to argue your point, in my opinion) a perfect pass is dropped that leads to an interception... how can you give them a negative nod if the WR is open in the zone, the QB threads it in there, but the WR drops/tips the pass and it's picked? orrrrrrrr like if the QB takes off running, gets hit and fumbles, but the fumble is scooped up by their own team for a TD, and they end up winning by 6 or something.. yeah they got the win, but they may have totally screwed their team... but were bailed out... sooo many different factors, and different things can happen, but I don't know that's how I look at the game....

I feel I can't give my opinion without watching every snap of each player... I know I haven't and not going to act like I have, and not even sure the voters do, anddddddddd each player has had their fair share of great, bad, lucky, etc... we can go on all day about who has done what...but you guys going off of numbers alone are something else, and that takes away from the beauty of the game, and I kind of feel bad for you...

stupid awards!!!! lol.. all 3 are playing well... I watch the Skins/Hawks on O though, and can't help but think to myself "if Luck had half the time Wilson/Griffin have & the push up front they are giving for their RB's, running for about 4 yds a play like Lynch/Morris are getting on a consistent basis... wow! the Colts line is so inconsistent lol.. I like them, they are inconsistent though, we all know that...and not to knock and act like the other teams lines are perfect, I realize Griffin/Wilson have both been pressured and have made some amazing plays with pressure in their face... but consistently I'll see both have the time to sit in the pocket and it feels like forever, where luck hasn't had very much time, ever lol....

I will say, I watch Griffin and I'm like wow, this dude's touch when he throws the football is insane!.. drops it in their nicely and so strong... Luck will come around, he has the rocket arm also, I think we have seen month to month the progression of his passing and knowing what he can and can't do, or when to go for it or not...Wilson is awesome to me in general, and being 5'10.. heck yeah haha.. they are all studs.. I get it we are fans but come on now, get some logic in your arguements friends!...

Mine keep changing but this is what I have:

OROY:  RG3 (not who I would vote for but I think it's who the media will vote for)

DROY:  I'll be honest I have no clue here.

OPOY:  AP if he breaks the rushing record although again I would vote for Calvin Johnson.

DPOY:  JJ Watt

MVP:  Peyton Manning

CPOY:  AP I just think things are sliding his way although I would vote for Peyton.

Coach of the Year:  Colts coaches I haven't heard anyone else really talked about for this awards, not saying they are the only deserving people out there I just don't think anyone else is really getting thought about for this award.  What Arains/Pagano have done is unbelievable the only thing more unbelievable would be if they didn't win this award.

GMOY:  I think Elway will win this but I think it should be Grigson.  Taking over the worst team in the league from a year ago, cutting a lot of fan favorites and overhauling the roster so there is little cap room to get to 10 wins at least while having to make significant changes on the roster week-to-week for a first time GM?  He nailed the draft class and a the few signings he did have.  Unreal and to me it comes down to a simple job which sounds harder?  Being the GM that got Peyton Manning or the GM who cut Peyton Manning?  People can say all they want about Elway taking the biggest risk in trusting the future of the team in Peyton Manning but I think it was much bigger risk to release Peyton Manning and go with Andrew Luck who was a rookie.  The later is the type of move if you get it wrong you become the butt of jokes for all time.
