We're not a power-based cold weather team, obviously....

..but this is not bad for Kansas City in late December.

I think we get a break here

Sorry man, you gotta make that more clear.

We will be on the road in the playoffs...most likely in cold weather.  May as well get used to it.  Lets go pick up this playoff clinching "W".

Andy?      Andy, are you OK?     Did you suffer a stroke?    You're way too young for that to have happened!

"He played in weather like this all the time at Stanford"    Really?

Honestly, I've been thinking back to the number of times Luck played in temps in the 30's and I think that number is..................

Zero.     No times.

His 2nd year as a starter,  2010,  he played in the low 40's and a driving rain up in Seattle.     I think that's as close as he got to the 30's.    That same year I think he played in the upper 40's in a game at South Bend, Indiana.

I know San Francisco is known as a cold city,  but it rarely, if ever, gets into the 30's...   I mean, maybe at 4am,  but that's it.

And Palo Alto, is about 35 miles South of San Francisco.   And the weather there is totally different.   It's unbelievably fantastic, almost year round.   Really.   Seriously.    I kid you not.    It's a great attraction for recruits coming from all over the country, from places where the weather is often not good.    In Palo Alto,  it's shorts and T-shirts weather for much of the school year.

Life is pretty sweet up there....    I'm 350 miles South of that.   You know weather is good in So. Cal.    But it's great in Palo Alto too...

Hang in there, Bud!

    • I don't think he should be cut, I say give him another chance. We need to keep depth on the D.Line and he will be fresh coming in Week 5. His Salary isn't really hurting the team either so I would keep him. Regarding Texans and Jags fans laughing at our fans, that is comical in itself. I get what you are saying about some Colts fans, nothing we do as a team satisfies some of us but our expectations are very high every season. Fun facts: Since the AFC South was created in 2002 the Jags have never won the Division and never been passed the Divisional Round and the Texans haven't made it passed the Divisional Round either in the Playoffs and have only won the Division 3 times. We have won the Division 9 times and have been in 4 Championship Games, 2 SB's, and won a SB in that same timeframe. So they can laugh all they want but the joke is on them in reality. Those teams have a long way to go to match our history in the Division!
    • I don't think they will because there is likely to be at least two young lineman behind him that are good players who are playing on cheap contracts right now. I think he'd have to super ball out and I don't see it.
    • "Forget that you and I both know from watching them that Butler is a better defender than Ellis.. What you're doing is looking for the outlier...the statistic that goes against the grain. Its called being a contrarian."   I'm being a contrarian based on the study of EVERY possession watched by NBA.com staff....Also being a contrarian is not a bad thing. We don't know how many of those people at NBA.com watched every single possession but somebody did and most likely multiple people......and again seeing who scored on who is easy. deciphering those stats and who scored on who is not hard, Just because you want to reject it does not make it any less true...Again take it up with NBA.com staff if you refute what they say.   I have also never said Monta was not a good defender.....I actually said he was a very good defender a few posts back. A good shooter? Sure if you want your guards to only be able to shoot from 16 feet in with consistency, From 20+ feet? Atrocious
    • Correction: For the record, Jimmy Butler was voted 2nd-team all defense in the 2015-2016 season.
    • Gavin, Forget that you and I both know from watching them that Butler is a better defender than Ellis.. What you're doing is looking for the outlier...the statistic that goes against the grain. Its called being a contrarian. You do understand that no one person watches every possession..
Multiple different with varied experience in many different places and priorities people do. So their opinion of what that stat is creates their opinion. That's what it is. An opinion.   You cite them as if they are accepted as fact. Anything other than hard stats...rebounds points, minutes played, is an opinion..based on who takes it down.... If you can find anything that says that even though Butler takes the other teams top forward and Ellis is not given that assignment at guard, that Ellis is a better defender, please present it...   You've been VERY critical of Ellis and the fact that he's not a good shooter or defender Why would believe a stat that says he is better than Jimmy Butler..who was third team all defense?
