When players have functions or events in the community I've noticed the jerseys they wear do not feature the name plates on the back. Why is that?

Haven't really paid attention but are they wearing practice jerseys?

Nope. They are the high quality jerseys, just no nameplates.

I think it's due to it being a "Colts" community  and the focus is more on the colts organization than the players... most likely not the case but i can't think of any other reason

well that is different. i have seen a few cowboy fundraisers where they are wearing their actual game jersey with the name on the back. seen it with the raiders and chargers too.
