Pat Mac on Bob & Tom this A.M.

9 posts in this topic

Was fun hearing Pat Mac on my drive to work this morning cutting up with Bob & Tom... I am an Indy transplant living in So Cal. we get the Bob & Tom show syndicated out here, so it was a fun listen...

I didn't get to hear the whole show as I was on my drive into work, but Pat was basically cuttin' up with the Bob & Tom crew...

Bob asked Pat about if NFL players wear cups, and Pat said "NO, it restricts mobility", then they went on to joke about maybe Matt Shaub should or something to that effect (obviously refering to the Suh kick)...

anywho, maybe someone else who listened to the whole show can expand on this...

I know Pat has a Radio show in Indy, so I guess it isn't a rarity to hear him on the radio there in Indy, but it was fun for me being here in So Cal...

He's on Bob and Tom every Tuesday. He always pretty funny and his Facebook Fridays are good too... seems to have a future in entertainment and/or broadcasting.

Most Tuesdays he isn't on air with Bob & Tom until after 10 a.m. est.  It's my understanding that they stop broadcasting nationally at 10, so you'll have to tune in online to be able to hear him.  Like today, they have had him on earlier in the show, thus making him available for you to hear.

If you get the IHeartRadio app you can get the local Indy feed for Q95 (WFBQ) and The Bob and Tom Show in the mornings. Pat McAfee is on Tuesdays at 10:00am eastern time.

You can also get the feed for 1260 WNDE where Reggie Wayne has a live show on Tuesdays from 5:00pm - 6:00pm (eastern time). His show won't be on next week because it's Christmas day.

I heard a lot of Pat McAfee this morning and he was great. He's really becoming a local favorite because he's got such a great personality.

I am out by Josh Tree... 106.5 KIXA is the station that plays Bob & Tom, I just "Lucked" upon it randomly one morning scrolling through stations in my old pick up, not sure if you'll pick it up in the IE, but I assume they have an internet feed (never really listen to radio online) so good "Luck"...

    • can we change it to sometime in August? I will be on vacation in Sep and don't want to auto draft
    • Are you serious? I just explained what I thought and even said I respected and understood your comment. What is angry about that?  I have a different view because I was a Colt fan long before them moving to Indy. It goes back to the Bert Jones days in 1973.
    • I forgot about that guy! Wasn't he on Mad TV back in the day? I think that's when I first heard about him. He was pretty funny and his impressions are crazy good if people are into that sort of thing.

    • I have, myself, full confidence that if all do their duty, if nothing is neglected, and if the best arrangements are made, as they are being made, we shall prove ourselves once again able to defend our Island home{Lucas Oil Stadium), to ride out the storm of war, and to outlive the menace of tyranny, if necessary for years, if necessary alone. At any rate, that is what we are going to try to do. That is the resolve of His Majesty's Government{Indianapolis Colts}-every man of them. That is the will of Parliament{fans}and the nation{Front office}. The British Empire{Offense} and the French Republic{defense}, linked together in their cause and in their need, will defend to the death their native soil{endzone}, aiding each other like good comrades to the utmost of their strength. Even though large tracts of Europe{chunks of yards} and many old and famous States have fallen{TDs given up} or may fall into the grip of the Gestapo{behind on the scoreboard} and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule{the opposing team}, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France{AFC South}, we shall fight on the seas{AFC} and oceans{all NFL teams}, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island{Lucas Oil Stadium}, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches{red zone}, we shall fight on the landing grounds{between the 20s}, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills {from sideline to sideline}; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island{Lucas Oil Stadium} or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas{back ups and special teams players}, armed and guarded by the British Fleet{The Colts}, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World_{rookies and practice squad players}, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.
    • Yeah Pat has his moments where he is funny. I think Chappelle is hilarious. Aries Spears is another one that is funny but he does great impersonations like Caliendo does so I like him. When Caliendo does Gruden and Kiper I lose it! His Morgan Freeman is unbelievable too. Spears can rap, he does Snoop and LL + many others.
