I have not doubted these boys against the winnable teams, not going to start now

We will beat the Chiefs and clinch our playoff spot, that is all I have to say.

I am not going to doubt our boys now. They have beaten the winnable teams most of the time, lost to the teams they were not favored against most of the time, and thus we will give Brady Quinn a loss in Kansas City.

Go Colts!!!

I have doubted them in certain games.

They should handle this game very easily. The Raiders manhandled this team and we all know about the powerhouse Raiders.

The biggest thing that angered me today were internal issues. Silly turnovers and un-sportsman like penalties were what cost us this game. We were right in it until the end.

Safe to say a blocked punt TD and a fumble at the 1 yard line sealed our fate in the Texans game.

The key vs the Chiefs is not making mistakes because the Chiefs' O is impotent enough outside their running game that all they want to do is hand it off to Jamaal Charles, hope to control clock, minimize mistakes and hope we make mistakes to give them good field position.

We beat Chiefs 20-10

And thats the RIGHT attitude...I dont get the doom and gloom...I expected to lose this time and win the season finale.

We can win both games, IF, we eliminate the crucial mistakes in big situations.  We actually could have taken yesterdays game.  We can win the next two, and need to for momentum into the playoffs.

    • Just to prove it really is possible:       Had to adjust some things because Johnson went a few picks ahead and Qualls went way earlier than expected. But I pretty much was able to get the first 4 picks all in order.
    •   If the Saints make the playoffs in the next year or two again with Brees nearing his final run in the league, I think they might have to consider him. Or they should. His stats are usually off the charts, but they need to be back in the playoffs.
    •   I'd love to get him in the third or fourth. Fast physical lber with a lot of pop in his tackles. He'd go sooner if he didn't get hurt.
    •   I like it too though I am torn on Smoot.
    • I think the argument at this point is due to the lack of talent elsewhere. We have Anderson, Langford, Ridgeway and to a lesser extent Kerr (if we keep him) at DE. That is a fairly solid rotation, although not elite. That being said, the 2 most promising players are very young and could mature into above average - elite players given time and reps. Not really necessary to write them off and relegate them further down the depth chart. With the way the CBA is, the best chance for them to progress is in game situations.    OLB on the other hand, we have Maggitt, Ayers and a couple camp bodies on the roster. We essentially have 2 rotational guys (at best) that have no business starting, and nothing else.    OLB = Major need DE = Not major need   Im not against grabbing a DE in this draft (if they are clearly the top player on the board, or at least the top defensive player) simply because any talented player will help the defense at this point, but I wouldnt call DE a position of Major Need.
