Wouldn't mind grabbing Frederick in the 3rd or 4th. A great run blocker, which we could use.

Andre Smith looks like he turned it around for the Bengals. Would be a huge upgrade at RT. Plus he's only 25.

Smith, Loadholt, or Vollmer at RT and we're well on our way. Justice started out alright, but lately he's been getting beat down.

A question for many of you.....

As we keep winning, our chances of getting Warmack are getting smaller and smaller.

I appreciate that DeCastro fell to 24th, but that was in a much, much better draft, and reportedly Warmack grades out even higher.

So, the chances of getting him are slim and none and I think Slim is riding out of town.

So my question is.... why do you keep posting about picking him in the first round?? How is it going to happen in your mind?

Are we making a trade up? Do you really think he's going to fall to the low or mid-20's where we'll likely pick?

I'm curious.....

I love Warmack but if we dont get him i want Travis Frederick in the 3rd. If Matt Elam is gone as well then i say trade out of the 1st back to the early 2nd.

while i agree that it's unlikely he falls to the colts, especially if teams like the rams and cowboys pick ahead of them, guards rarely go higher than 20...i THINK steve hutchinson was the highest going at 16.

so he finally gets it together during a contract year....shocking. although i read he played pretty well last year.

Anyone but Winston Justice at right tackle. He is not consistent at all!

I really think we can talk Ryan Clady into leaving the Broncos. Move Costanzo to right tackle and we're set. Otherwise, I would sign Vollmer and look at spending some money on a guard as well. I wouldn't draft a guard. I would stick to defense in the draft.

people need to forget about clady, it's not going to happen. even if he wants to leave, which he probably doesn't, elway can still franchise him.

Just a question: is NE really pondering letting Vollmer leave? Seems rather unlikely (I could be wrong)

who knows, but vollmer does have a history of back problems...not something you want in a 6'8 tackle. they did draft the canon kid a couple years ago, but not sure how he has progressed.

    • The reason they both look tired by 3rd quarter is because they are on the field way too much throughout the game.
    • They just tied the record for the second most sacks given up in the entire history of the Colts and folks, that goes back a long way. They can't see their feet much less a light at the end of the tunnel. A good coach solves problems like many teams have done this season. The Colts get worse and that means either the staff is incompetent or they simply don't give a rats rear. Pagano's post game press conference after the disaster at home with the Jags showed he does not care. He was sarcastic and avoided every question insulting the reporters just doing their jobs. When you get hammered at home you have only one thing left to do and that is make n attempt to be respectful of the reporters who will turn and tell the fans what you said and how you said it. Ignorant Brissett said "Is there a problem with this team"? Yes there is smart guy and you a part of it. Hilton hammers the OL in public. All signs point to Pagano's lack of authority over his players. He want to be daddy and Santa Clause to football players. That has never worked at any level.
    • We can probably even argue the more power he's been given and the freer he's been during his tenure the more his weaknesses have shined and overtaken the performance of the team. In a weird twisted kind of way Grigson might have been a balance to the buddy-buddy relationship between Pagano and the players. Right now wheels are falling off both on the field and off the field(players blaming whole position groups for the  failings of the team in front of sensation-hungry journalists, etc). I previously thought Pagano was an OK coach who simply not good enough to go against the best of the best. Right now I'm revising my view and leaning more and more toward the conclusion that he's not even as good as I used to give him credit for. From preparation to personnel decisions, to game management to player development... where is he even remotely successful? I don't see it. To me this looks like a total and complete failure on all fronts by Pagano.
    • They do get paid to guess.    They are drafting potential.    His picks didn't live up to their potential.    He got fired.    It's a very common story
    •   Actually according to overthecap.com we’ve got the most cap space for 2018. That, combined with a healthy Luck, a top 5 draft pick, Chris Ballard, a good nucleus of players, an impending coaching staff change from top to bottom (hopefully), and an aging/retiring older generation of QBs that have dominated the AFC, I believe the future is bright in Indy.
