Wouldn't mind grabbing Frederick in the 3rd or 4th. A great run blocker, which we could use.

Andre Smith looks like he turned it around for the Bengals. Would be a huge upgrade at RT. Plus he's only 25.

Smith, Loadholt, or Vollmer at RT and we're well on our way. Justice started out alright, but lately he's been getting beat down.

A question for many of you.....

As we keep winning, our chances of getting Warmack are getting smaller and smaller.

I appreciate that DeCastro fell to 24th, but that was in a much, much better draft, and reportedly Warmack grades out even higher.

So, the chances of getting him are slim and none and I think Slim is riding out of town.

So my question is.... why do you keep posting about picking him in the first round?? How is it going to happen in your mind?

Are we making a trade up? Do you really think he's going to fall to the low or mid-20's where we'll likely pick?

I'm curious.....

You forgot OG Louis Vasquez. He is the top OG I want in free agency.

I love Warmack but if we dont get him i want Travis Frederick in the 3rd. If Matt Elam is gone as well then i say trade out of the 1st back to the early 2nd.

while i agree that it's unlikely he falls to the colts, especially if teams like the rams and cowboys pick ahead of them, guards rarely go higher than 20...i THINK steve hutchinson was the highest going at 16.

Anyone but Winston Justice at right tackle. He is not consistent at all!

I really think we can talk Ryan Clady into leaving the Broncos. Move Costanzo to right tackle and we're set. Otherwise, I would sign Vollmer and look at spending some money on a guard as well. I wouldn't draft a guard. I would stick to defense in the draft.

people need to forget about clady, it's not going to happen. even if he wants to leave, which he probably doesn't, elway can still franchise him.

Just a question: is NE really pondering letting Vollmer leave? Seems rather unlikely (I could be wrong)

who knows, but vollmer does have a history of back problems...not something you want in a 6'8 tackle. they did draft the canon kid a couple years ago, but not sure how he has progressed.

    • Peyton Manning was nearly a titan in 2012
And he would've gotten smacked twice a year by Luck. His record against us was what like , 1-4 with a stacked Broncos team? He wouldn't have faired any better on a depleted Titans team.
    • Ravens to receive discipline for using pads in Rookie camp
Which is sad considering it tramples all over the CBA, which clearly states the number of padded practices a team can have and when they can have them. Coach should've gotten a 2 game suspension.
    • Sign WR James Jones - It makes too much sense.
Beyond TY Hilton and Donte Moncrief, the Colts have very little experience at the WR position. Dorsett has a lot of upside, but only played about half the year last year due to the broken leg. Bray was pretty much exclusively used as a returner. The draft is over, and the FA market is pretty much bare - Except for one guy. James Jones.   Yeah, he's 32 years old. But he brings a ton of experience, and he's familiar with coach Joe Philbin. He probably wouldn't be able to demand any more than roughly $6 million over a 2 year deal, which is something we can certainly afford to shore up our passing offense. He's a guy that is willing and able to block, and at 6'1" he would be one of our biggest bodied receivers when we need a "possession" catch on 3rd and 4 or a guy to high point the ball in the red-zone.   Look at the production Jones has put up over the last 4 years, and tell me why this guy is still on the FA market.             Games Starts Catches Yards Avg Long TD       FUM Lost 2015 Green Bay Packers 16 15 50 890 17.8 65T 8 -- -- --     1 0   2014 Oakland Raiders 16 10 73 666 9.1 42 6 -- -- --     3 1   2013 Green Bay Packers 14 14 59 817 13.8 83T 3 -- --       2 1   2012 Green Bay Packers 16 16 64 784 12.3 49 14
He lead the Packers with nearly 900 yards and 8 TDs last year. Add him to the Colts, and he can come right in and compete with Moncrief and Dorsett for snaps. He can give different looks, and give us a legitimate 4-Wide set. He can step in at the Slot, and allow the Colts to possibly move Dorsett to RB on 3rd downs. The coaches have spoken about possibly using Dorsett more out of the backfield, in kind of a HB Screen role or catching passes in the flats because we have no one else in our RB group that really excels as a pass catcher. Adding James Jones allows Dorsett to focus more on that role, without leaving us vulnerable and down a starting WR in the passing game. I don't and wouldn't expect Jones to put up 800-900 yards in our offense...we have some talented guys we are trying to develop, but James Jones can surely contribute to our offense and provide a "coach on the field" to our younger players.

Should the Colts be signing James Jones today? Tomorrow? Or does it simply make too much sense?

Hello my Name is Robin. And i'm from Denmark. even though i've been member on this forum for a long time, and the old one as well. I would like to Introduce myself. I became a Colts fan in 2007, when I watched my first NFL game. My brother introduced me to NFL, the superbowl between Colts & Bears, And as we all know the Bears scored first, so I had to rude for the "underdogs".. and from that day on I was hooked. I've watched every game since, even the primetime games, that starts 2:30 in Denmark, it's a long day working with no sleep but damn its worth it. Can't wait for my next big Colts adventure, when I get to see them playing in London

I have been a fan since 1984 when I became an early teen and really started to understand the game. Colts moved to Indianapolis in 1984 and eventhough we stunk for a while, things obviously got better. We traded for Dickerson in 1987 and won the Division, then we had Harbaugh's magical season in 1995, the Peyton ERA where winning 12 games was a piece of cake + winning a SB in 2006, now the Andrew ERA where we have already had 3 11 win seasons and a deep Playoff run.
