The Luck Pick 6

Please post where the league said the refs made the incorrect call. The league is saying that the replay assistant didn't send a certain view down to the ref. Every view showed in the stadium showed his knee being down. We see exactly what the ref is seeing. Every angle showed his knee as being down but the refs were rewinding and zooming in on arm movement and no the knee which tells me they were trying to figure out arm movement or whether the ball left his fingertips before the knee went down.

There is nothing here from the NFL that says the refs got the call wrong. This is nothing more than the someone saying that the refs didn't get a certain replay view sent to them.

The NFL has not issued anything saying the refs got the call wrong and why would they? They even issued a statement about the Packers/Seahawks game saying the refs got the call right but they missed a passer interference call.

What part of "According to the Indianapolis Star the NFL has informed the team that the call should have been reversed" wasn't sufficient?

Also I linked the exact article the other website is mentioning.

That link is a twitter feed from someone picking up something from the biased Indianapolis Star. The Indianpolis Star can write and spin whatever it wants. There is no official word from the NFL admitting anything was done wrong.

Somewhere on this site someone posted a link about how that part of the play was not part of the 60 sec allowed reviewing time. CBS messed up their broadcasting cameras or something and that camera view or something was not able to be seen by the refs so thats why it did not get overturned.

Good God man, give it up. You are wrong and that is all there is to it. Everybody has reported the call was wrong and the reason why the Packers/Seahawks game got more publicity is because it actually cost the Packers the game. The Colts still won despite the refs best effort to do otherwise.

Wow, just wow! Now the Star is resorting to lying and spin doctoring??? The Star is far from the only media outlet that reported the call was wrong. Not to mention every NFL analyst, Mike Pereira, and the officials that actually made the call. I've known people that were hardheaded and stubborn and hated being wrong, but you're taking this to whole new level. Nah though, you're right and every single other person is wrong, even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Every NFL analyst and Mike Pereira also said that the refs got the Packers/Seahawks call wrong but the NFL said they got the call right. There has been no NFL spokesperson or official as of yet who has said that they got the call wrong.

Well, I'm done with this topic, the Colts still won and you're still wrong. Nothing can ever change either one of those right now.

And with that response I bid this thread farewell lol.

Pay attention to this quote from the second link most notable the bolded part.

"Unfortunately, we didn’t get this angle down to the referee,” Blandino said on NFL Network. “The replay official did not send it down to the referee. And that is a mistake, and that’s something that we have to make sure doesn’t happen again. You can see that the knee is down, you can see that Luck clearly has control of the football, but the referee never got a look at this angle because the replay official didn’t send it down to the field, and that’s something that we’re going to work on and we have been working on to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

Here is a picture of it

There you can see his knee clearly down with the ball still in his hand. He was down. You can cling to whatever opinion you would like but it's becoming more and more clear no one is agreeing with you.

The bad call would never have taken place had Luck not thrown the ball in such a desperate disposition.....directly into the chest of a defender.

Yeah....it was a bad call but we were looking for a bailout and we didn't get one that time....tough cookies.

This is at least the third INT he's thrown while refusing to take the sack. Very typical rookie mistake.

All that said; It was a sack and when the knee is down, the play is dead, period.
