Do the Cardinals win another game?

13 posts in this topic

They started 4-0 and since then have went 0-10

I find it amazing, this is almost a mirror to the Bills of last year. They both started 4-0, both beat New England, and both lost so many in a row, I think Buffalo finished the season with only 1 more win after starting 4-0 but do the Cardinals even get that lucky?

Is there some curse with beating New England early and starting 4-0 that you are bound to lose the rest of the year? :ninja:

Seems more like the Bucs of last year, they finished losing 10 in a row after a 4-2 start.

New England just ruins everything for so many teams. :(

Be glad I'm not one of these other Saints fans you told that to, cause I can hear a conspiracy now coming from them. "It was the Patriots that started bounty gate!"

That's absolutely crazy. I remember when they where being touted as one of the suprising teams, on the rise then ohh boy did they crash and burn.

Oh I know, everyone had them picked as a surprise against the boys in Frisco. I never bought into it, but I didn't expect them to lay down like they did today and get beat by 58 points. Absolutely stunning to see that happen.

I didn't find it that surprising. They don't have a qb. Whoever plays qb for them hurts them and help the other team. How in the world does Larry get only catch from his qb and the other team gets four???

I've seen horrible qbs before but all 3 of them are absolutely horrible lol. I do feel bad for Fitz (although he does get to come home to a bathtub full of green money, that must be nice :) )

I would love to see Fitzgerald go to a real team before the end of his career. Hands down for my money possibly the best receiver in the game. The QB's are the problem indeed, but a few years ago I thought the Cardinals would get better, I really had great feelings about Ken Whisenhunt.

I did too. I thought Whisenhunt might be back next year because they would draft a qb and give him one more chance but after today, I think it's more likely he's fired. After Warner, all downhill for them lol

I'm looking for Allen to have a monster year. Something like 600 yards, 8 TD's. I'm interested to see who wins the 3rd spot though. I'm puling for Swoope.
    • Add 2 players to the Colts- 1 on offense and 1 on defense
I would not discount the $$ factor. You make an insane amount now. Whites big contract when he left Philly for GB in 93 4 yrs 17 M.
    • Which one most likely to happen...
They all look realistic to me. I don't see Luck putting up 4500 yards as a negative. I would expect him to be right around there I think before last year he went 3800 4300 4700 so right around 4500 seems right to me.    We aren't sure Allens role and health is a concern but 700 and 7 really isn't that crazy. He needs to average 45 yards a game.

He's never been asked or given the chance to do more that I recall. He joined the Colts the year after Fleener and Allen. He's been used to block for the most part. The draft profile said he was a receiving threat coming out of college being behind 2/3 round picks would limit opportunities. I have a feeling we will get to see for ourselves.
    • Whens the last time a 5 win team had so much hype?
I've stated this probably 50 times on here already, I think people are alot more likely to be surprised by the end of the season at how they underachieved rather than how they are gonna overachieve or win the division as some lunatics think. They went 5-11 with a better offense than the Colts and a defense that was about the same. And two of their big draft picks have big injury concerns around them now. I think 7-9 is where they'll be after this maybe maybe 8-8.

When I first saw this thread, I thought I was late to the party, but then I saw that this thread has been going since 2012.   I'm still late to the party, but story of my life.  I joined in 2015, but have been a Colts fan since I was a kid.   My first Colts memory is getting a hat signed by Quentin Coryatt at training camp, and that same year almost going to the SB.   My favorite Colts memory is beating the Pats to get to the SB in 2006.   Favorite Colts:   1. Peyton Manning 2. Marvin Harrison 3. Reggie Wayne 4. Dallas Clark 5. Brandon Stokely   Needless to say, Peyton (#1) and everyone he threw the ball to (#2-5) won me many, many fantasy football games, and are my guys for eternity.   You might assume from my top 5 Colts that I am a "new-age" "fairweather" fan who only likes offense and points.  You are wrong.  I am grateful for the offensive Renaissance in Indy, but Defense is my passion.  My secret top 5 Colts: Bob Sanders, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, Cato June, Gary Brackett.   I want Henry Anderson to help lead a Defensive Renaissance in Indy.  Luck and TY are great, and I hope the OLine is outstanding, but the D is the Key.

Hey guys,   I have been posting for probably a year or so now.  I reside in Brazil, IN, which is about 20 minutes East of Terre Haute on I-70.  I'm 28 years old and have been a Colts fan since Harbaugh days, but really started following and rooting hard for them after they drafted Manning in 98.  I love our team and my family and I make sure we are ready to rock for every game.  We always have viewing parties at my father-in-laws or my house and are known to holler and scream at the TV!  Hope all is well with all of you, and GO COLTS!
