Do the Cardinals win another game?

They started 4-0 and since then have went 0-10

I find it amazing, this is almost a mirror to the Bills of last year. They both started 4-0, both beat New England, and both lost so many in a row, I think Buffalo finished the season with only 1 more win after starting 4-0 but do the Cardinals even get that lucky?

Is there some curse with beating New England early and starting 4-0 that you are bound to lose the rest of the year? :ninja:

Seems more like the Bucs of last year, they finished losing 10 in a row after a 4-2 start.

New England just ruins everything for so many teams. :(

Be glad I'm not one of these other Saints fans you told that to, cause I can hear a conspiracy now coming from them. "It was the Patriots that started bounty gate!"

That's absolutely crazy. I remember when they where being touted as one of the suprising teams, on the rise then ohh boy did they crash and burn.

Oh I know, everyone had them picked as a surprise against the boys in Frisco. I never bought into it, but I didn't expect them to lay down like they did today and get beat by 58 points. Absolutely stunning to see that happen.

I didn't find it that surprising. They don't have a qb. Whoever plays qb for them hurts them and help the other team. How in the world does Larry get only catch from his qb and the other team gets four???

I've seen horrible qbs before but all 3 of them are absolutely horrible lol. I do feel bad for Fitz (although he does get to come home to a bathtub full of green money, that must be nice :) )

I would love to see Fitzgerald go to a real team before the end of his career. Hands down for my money possibly the best receiver in the game. The QB's are the problem indeed, but a few years ago I thought the Cardinals would get better, I really had great feelings about Ken Whisenhunt.

I did too. I thought Whisenhunt might be back next year because they would draft a qb and give him one more chance but after today, I think it's more likely he's fired. After Warner, all downhill for them lol

    • Draft day ideal Mock. Last one til next year!!!!
Which one? I think Demarcus is highly likely to go undrafted. I think Rashard has a chance to go undrafted but may end up going in the 5-7 range. Both of those guys have hurt their stock with off the field stuff. They'd be 2nd or 3rd rounders if not for the off field issues. In fact its my opinion that if Rashard would have played more at LSU and hadn't had any issues he'd be a 1st rounder.

I don't care that you are not a "believer" in this approach, to each their own, but at least make sure you actually understand what it means...there are about multiple threads on this very site where this topic is discussed at length, I recommend reading at least one of them...maybe you will see it is not as black and white as you are making it.

I dont know why we lost, to be honest. I know what lost the game for us......but I don't know why our play declined after we were offensively excellent much of the night. I'm encouraged by the fact that we've led them for much of the last 2 games. 2 days off helps Mahinmi...   But our guards off the bench....Stuckey and Lawson....must produce average play at least. ..and Monta Ellis obviously has to score in big games.....its not enough for him to distribute the ball. We don't have enough scoring without 15-20 from him Times like this weekend are why we got him.....He looks hesitant and if he's not hurting I don't know why.. still hoping for a big Game 6

I'm actually thinking we might go Whitehair--versatile OL guy who can be a starter at both C and G

I forwarded the link to some friends at work and said if it didn't choke you up a little, you have no emotions.

Definitely, my grandfather lived in Baltimore for a while and grew up watching him. He still pulled for Indy but always referred to them as Baltimore. I wasn't allowed to say the name Irsay in my house. The game sure has changed. I wish I could go back in time when players didn't get flagged for breathing on a player and defenses were actually feared by offenses.

Two very different eras and very different games. I started watching the Colts when Unitas stepped in for  George Shaw. I have been a fan ever since but the move to Indy will always leave a bitter taste but it is what it is.
