Watson is the real deal, his best asset is his composure followed by his work ethic. That is what will make him a good pro for the long run. Also Prescott is still playing some good ball
93.1 Rating, those numbers are still very good.
I think this is delusional. Pagano's been given a long leash. It's not working. He and his assistants are consistently out-coached. Change is going to happen whether or not Luck returns. Luck simply masks the bad coaching. Without him the emperor has no clothes.
Yeah, that's what I've been thinking. Not that I expect it to be what's going on, but it really wouldn't surprise me if so. The logic's there, like you listed. Wouldn't have been a good look for Gruden or even the Colts if we'd hired this year during this transitional period especially without Luck.
I tend to lean toward believing the Irsay courting Gruden at the very least. Kravitz saying it was one thing but JMV also said he knew the Colts were going hard after Gruden. No facts to be sure, but I think JMV's word is pretty legit.
Completely agree about the D Line, Simon, and Sheard. Melvin, Hairston, Wilson, Hooker, and Farley have played well. Ilb is an issue and we knew that going into the season. Vontae is rusty as well...
On Offense Mack looks like a find...other than that the rest has been underwhelming due to injuries and a QB that has been with the team for a month.
Sanchez looks promising and Vin is Vin.
