Let Powers and Freeney walk

Sign OG LeVitre and WR Amendola

Draft Xavier Rhodes 1 and Margus Hunt 3

This is just the basics of what I would want

What is up with everyone's obsession with Amendola?

He's cheaper than Wallace and we already have a Wallace on the team in Donnie Avery.

I don't want amendola, we have ty who is like him, and considering he is the only reliable receiver on the rams I doubt they will let him walk. I like the Rhodes pick but would prefer a guard in the third. I would also sign keenan Lewis and maybe collie to a 1 year deal

admendola is the bob sanders of WRs and Margus hunt is a project and if we are picking a project I'd rather have Ansah

Kiper and Mcshay both have him in the third.

really? considering he was a projected top 10 pick and hasn't been horrible

I wonder if TY would welcome the oppurtunity as new #2 if Avery leaves. Gotta say I know he can do it!

He could drop middle 2nd but no way he falls end of 3.

I said early third and he won't be falling, he will be going where he was projected to go.

If you have him going in 3rd then I guess before you were holding out hope he would fall to Colts.

The only exception on this I am willing to make is not getting Amendola. I really hope the Colts get LeVitre though. That would such an amazing signing!

Amendola is weak...all we need on the offensive side of the ball is better interior linemen, that's it! Defensive side, I'd like to start with an Elam or Reid...Rhodes can be picked up in the second round if we deal for that pick....

and i hate to burst everybody's bubble, but levitre, at 6'2 304, probably doesn't fit what the colts are looking for in a offensive lineman.

I would love Bowe and Wayne tandem.. With Hilton in the slot.. Resign Avery for depth and sadly release Collie..

Colts sign Free Agents

William Beatty

Kenny Phillips

Tracey Porter (But truth be told I bet he will be resigned, my next option at Corner I believe Brent Grimes was Franchise Tagged recently)

Arthur Jones or Ropati Pitoitua

Draft (if we dont get more picks)

1.Warmack

3.Brandon Jenkins (resigning Freeney to a reasonable deal based on production and not on reputation in the 4-3, Jenkins was a stud in college pre injury and if Jenkins is not healthy by draft day the Freeney signing would give Jenkins plenty of time to recover BUT I think Jenkins will be healthy by then)

4.Bacarri Rambo if he is not there then Brandan Bishop

What site(s) do you like?

I like both Kiper and McShay from ESPN. They may both work for the network, but they are completely differently and see things differently most of the time... By the way, McShaw is the front for Scouts Inc. and they have two other scouts who join McShay, so you're getting plenty of bang for your buck, so to speak...

I also like Nolan Nawrocki from Pro Football Weekly.

Those are my Big Three.

I keep an eye on everyone.... but few do it seriously.... most do it because the draft has grown in interest tremendously the last few years. I think last years draft had shockingly big ratings... So, I think a lot of websites do it because it generates 'clicks' or 'hits' for their site... but they play at this, they don't take it seriously.

i don't pay much attention to mocks this time of year. i don't really mind walterfootball, but the mocks come off as kinda amateur-ish....it's like they don't even know a teams actual roster or what style of defense a team runs, etc...

i usually pay attention to scouts inc, kiper, national football post, pro football weekly, some of they guys on nfl network.

Bleacher Report is far fetched in my opinion...but I did something interesting...I completely forgot about Alec Ogletree....wouldnt he be an interesting pick. he played Mike this year at UGA but he can also play SS. He has the size similar to Sean Taylor...I think that would be a great opportunity

Thanks for the reply.

Kiper / McShay... I'll catch them when they are on ESPN, but I'm too cheap to pay for the Insider stuff.

What I like about WalterFootball.com is the Mock Draft database:

I usually don't put too much stock in the mock draft this early but it's still fun to look at

    • Romo plays unless he's hurt.  You don't displace a successful regular season quarterback with a promising pre-season one.   However the Cowboys could try and take that pre-season promise and see if a team will send out some high round picks for him.   Or they could try and make him their QB of the future.
    • By extend drives, I mean convert third downs. If I have to choose between a quick TD drive and a long FG drive, I'll take the quick 7 points almost every time (save for a four minute situation where the FG basically ices it).    And I agree, getting off to a fast start is critical. Pagano seems to mention that every time he talks, because when this team has had slumps over the past three years, it's been because they start slowly and are down 2+ score in the second quarter.
    • I'm not saying he can.  Although honestly I think Rex Ryan's teams have terrible discipline on the field.  That might extend to off the field as well.    I'm saying that perhaps being cut might get the guy to take football more seriously.   It's just out and out stupid.  We give people who commit terrible crimes a 2nd chance in the NFL.  Shoot sometimes 3rd, 4th and 5th chances.  I mean look at Greg Hardy.  Karlos Williams gained 20 pounds, he didn't beat a woman within an inch of her life like Greg Hardy did.     But the dude is 20 pounds overweight and the whole NFL world is suppose to just decide. . . eh he's done, nothing we can do here.  No thought to bringing him in and saying "Hey we have this contract but you can be cut without costing us a dime, so here is the rub. . . you show progress and you loose some weight by the time your suspension is over or your chance here is done.     Eddie Lacy got fat, his coach told him to lose some weight and he lost some weight.
    • I like this.  I may have to watch more NFL Network now.  I think Reggie is a pretty intelligent guy, so I look forward to his analysis
