Richard Sherman and Darelle Revis are the only two CBs that can cover Megatron 1 one 1. Nobody else can

I'm glad we get Fleener back. If I'm Luck I'm finding Jacob Lacey every pass play and I'm attacking him with whoever he is covering

he's easy to find. just look ten yards away from the receiver

With Tim Jennings playing well this year, I wouldn't be surprised if Lacey had a good game on Sunday against us.

Lot of people on this site thought Tim Jennings was terrible. Now I believe he leads the league in interceptions. So was it him or the system?

Should we be concerned about Andrew's knee at all? I see that he practiced fully, but I get the sense that he might play on one leg if he had to... i'd like to think that the coaches would be very cautious about a possible injury to the franchise, but I'm not so sure... new staff and "reloading" and all that

So if zib can't go, Lefeged gets the start right? Hope that doesn't impact his special team performance

I think he has been listed as having a knee thing for several weeks now.

Maybe he gets treatment on it. I won't worry unless he does not practice.

And for all we know Luck's knee is like "Brady's shoulder." :)

Good to see that we're getting healthy

it just doesn't look as bad because we have moved the wounded to IR

Sergio Brown will start

Are you saying that because he's listed behind him on the depth chart or has it been stated by the team?

I haven't looked at the depth chart since preseason, and the team hasn't said anything. Im saying Brown simply because all year he is always the one to come in during games and spell some guys. Lefeged hasn't even seen the defensive side of the ball this season, thats why I say Sergio Brown will start if Zib can't go

I'm not going to lie..I'm a little happy that Zibs won't be out there Sunday..hopefully its nothing serious but whoever takes his spot I hope they play well enough that it would be hard for him to get his starting job back..

You probably shouldn't state it as such a certainty then. In reality Brown has only played 25 snaps (17 coming in weeks 3 and 5 - playing more CB) all year to Lefeged's 11 snaps.

Brown may very well start, but I don't think your premise flies here.

George Bremer@gmbremer

Lions practice report: LIM -- CB Houston, WR Johnson, CB Lacey, LB Palmer, OG Sims, DE Avril, OT Backus, S Delmas, RB Leshoure, DT Williams

George Bremer@gmbremer

Lions practice report: DNP -- CB Green, DE Vanden Bosch

Backus, Delmas, Lacey, Vanden Bosch, and Corey Williams are all questionable... the rest are probable... C.Johnson has a thumb injury so my guess is that he plays, but we are looking a bit healthier than they are (IR list notwithstanding)

    • Bates as a ILB?
We are not seeing the same things here. It is as simple as that.    The Green pick wasn't safe. but the Clark pick was very safe.    Both were ranked very high on the Colts board. They were ranked very high on my board too. I actually had Clark ranked higher than Green though.    Both Green and Clark have high ceilings, and Clark also has a high floor.    How are Irsay/Grigson/Pagano gambling on greatness? Kelly and Clark were as safe of picks as you will ever see. Green was Pagano's pick.   I see them performing much sooner than year 2. Green will perform on special teams this year (and see some playing time at safety), and Clark will likely start.
    • TJ Green/Blythe
Here is a Q&A with someone that covered Clemson closely. He said the decision to draft TJ Green was not a smart decision, in the 2nd round.   http://www.stampedeblue.com/2016/5/5/11601968/learning-more-about-t-j-green-q-a-shakin-the-southland-it-wasnt-a-smart-decision-by-the-colts
    • Vegas liked the colts draft .
Makes sense, as C is one of the positions that can more easily make an immediate impact.  There just isn't the same evolution with centers as other positions that take more time.
    • Have you seen the Tape on Hassan Ridgeway?!?
Well...    I'm glad he did,  because I think he could turn into something good for us!
    • Have you seen the Tape on Hassan Ridgeway?!?
Yeah, going against NFL OL seasoned with an NFL regimen won't be easy but there will be plenty of fledgling starters in the interior across the NFL, so there will be plenty of opportunities.   Anderson belied all expectations, so did Parry but it is not reasonable to expect rookies to contribute at that level every year. 2-gap linemen are harder to find, so I am glad our DL is asked to 1-gap more recently, it is easier on LBs too, IMO.
