So, that's 53 now right? The DT & now this Safety? Guess we're not getting Babin then. Ok, I'll take that

He's also from Stanford. I was thinking that we'd start to target Stanford's defense (especially their LBs) in the next draft, seeing as we've already drafted their offense this year.

Only question I have about him is can he lay a big hit on someone and come up and play the run as well

I am trying to figure out why Safety?

Is Bethea or Zibby hurt?

I read somewhere that Zibby may be having issues with his shin? Seriusly though, that's what I read. His shin.

he's not going to play, Sergio Brown and Lefeged would come in before him

Exactly. I blame us for the Eagles downfall this year. Taking all their players

Well that is unfortunate, maybe the Lefeged fans will be happy if Zibby goes down.

yeah I figured this was a special teams move, I just wondered if he was a heavy hitter, we need that at Safety, someone that can come up and play the run as well

were not going to get that until the offseason whether its Kenny Vaccarro/Tony Jefferson/Matt Elam/TJ McDonald(either one is fine with me) in the first round of the draft or somebody in free agency

I read this morning on RW that we are not interested in Babin.

Has anyone on here ever truly injured their shin? I'll take an ankle or knee injury any day of the week over a shin thanks.

I've injured my shins before. You have muscles running through there, plus shin splints are excruciating.

    • Yep. He said something along the lines of "I want to be able to get to training camp at 100%, and without having a governor," or something like that. He's not gonna be full go if he isn't doing some throwing beforehand. And in Reich's presser today, he made it sound like Luck will ramp things up in that 6 week period between minicamp and training camp.
    • Because you feel that way doesn't make it so.  Jonathan Martin posted this in February!! If he did this while in Florida, I'm sure it wasn't long before he was 'Baker Acted' (Involuntary psychiatric hold in Florida).  Just like his bully buddy below-     Involuntary psychiatric hold in Florida is called the Baker Act, named after the state representative from 1963-1972 (Maxine Baker) in FL years ago that had an interest in mental health issues.   Looks like psych issues for both guys ever since the 'confrontation'.
    • People will get upset no matter what. There will be plenty of cameras showing who came out for the anthem. That will start another controversy.   Having said that, I don't see anything wrong with the new policy. One has the option not to be on the field during the anthem. It seems like a good compromise. I don't see why the NFLPA has a problem with it. Perhaps there is something I am missing.
    • Only in the US. In my neck of the woods(Europe) people ridicule that obsession of fake displays of patriotism in US sports(the anthem, the parroting of the military, etc.). I've been a fan of multiple sports and I cannot think of a single one in a any country other than the US(and Canada?) that plays the national anthem before games of club teams. The only time they play the anthems is before national teams competitions/games/events.
    • I think your posts are the best ones on this site. So does that make the answer Yes or No?
