Even more impressive when you consider some of those games involved Kerry Collins and Curtis Painter.

Reggie is on the fast track to being the greatest Colt WR ever.. He is getting better with age. Marv got old with age.

It would be nice, but there is a long list of WRs waiting to get in.

Marvin got a knee injury he never recovered from. Till that point Marvin while slowing down some was still very very very good. I think Reggie is also benefiting a lot from the change on offense he's now doing things he's never done before on offense and of course it's going to take teams a while to figure out how to play that. So far no one has really had the answer. With that said Reggie has gone from a product of Peyton Manning in some peoples' eyes to future Hall of Famer and I am just glad Reggie is finally getting his due.

Reggie must be very happy...he had a tough decision...in the off-season..

and he made the right choice.......for wins, yards..and his career

Reggie has had an outstanding career, but THIS year has been his best, by FAR!

This year, methinks Reggie has cemented a trip to Canton. He's a Hall of Famer! Thank goodness Garçon turned the Colts down, thus facilitating the re-signing of Wayne. Serendipitous Luck!

I think he was comparing Wayne to TY..Joker...

84 catches...1,105 yards in 11 games.....I didnt see that coming

I don't see how he got this confused with TY but maybe he was thinking yards, he's was ranked 2nd before the game.

Man he ain't leading the NFL in receptions.

they put up the numbers to show he was during the game so unless someone passed him in the late games he is.

Marvin was gun shy towards the end (after he got hurt) but up until that point he was very good about going down and not taking alot of damage.

Reggie is the man. Period. But I do think he learned from one of the best (Marv) and it helped him make him what he is today. An ELITE NFL Receiver.

I thought Witten had 82 catches going into the game vs the Redskins and since he got

9 catches in that game I thought they had yet to update the stats until the last game this week was played which in my mind of thinking he was going to be at 91

I can see that logic

http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/receiving/sort/receptions

Those are the offical numbers as of now. BTW Reggie is also second in the NFL in terms of yards. Not bad 87! Not bad at all!

I think Ryan Grigson is paying attention to the success that Bill Polian had here. Get you a good QB, keep him upright, and win lots of games. Add in "old" Frank Gore and you might just have something going.

I just love the thought of the Colts' 2 young guys learning from cagey old Mike Adams. He can ball.

When I first saw this thread, I thought I was late to the party, but then I saw that this thread has been going since 2012.   I'm still late to the party, but story of my life.  I joined in 2015, but have been a Colts fan since I was a kid.   My first Colts memory is getting a hat signed by Quentin Coryatt at training camp, and that same year almost going to the SB.   My favorite Colts memory is beating the Pats to get to the SB in 2006.   Favorite Colts:   1. Peyton Manning 2. Marvin Harrison 3. Reggie Wayne 4. Dallas Clark 5. Brandon Stokely   Needless to say, Peyton (#1) and everyone he threw the ball to (#2-5) won me many, many fantasy football games, and are my guys for eternity.   You might assume from my top 5 Colts that I am a "new-age" "fairweather" fan who only likes offense and points.  You are wrong.  I am grateful for the offensive Renaissance in Indy, but Defense is my passion.  My secret top 5 Colts: Bob Sanders, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, Cato June, Gary Brackett.   I want Henry Anderson to help lead a Defensive Renaissance in Indy.  Luck and TY are great, and I hope the OLine is outstanding, but the D is the Key.
    • Whens the last time a 5 win team had so much hype?
Oh, they're also getting Dante Fowler back. They have a lot of good talent.

See my week 1 game thread...the Jags have the Packers in week 1. People are as down on the Packers as they are up on the Jags, even though the Packer's 2015 record was a 1 game difference from the Jag's, if you swap the wins and losses around. The Jags play the Packers in week 1. Jags over Packers? Seriously? And that's their best chance because the Steelers, Ravens and Chargers are next.

Hey guys,   I have been posting for probably a year or so now.  I reside in Brazil, IN, which is about 20 minutes East of Terre Haute on I-70.  I'm 28 years old and have been a Colts fan since Harbaugh days, but really started following and rooting hard for them after they drafted Manning in 98.  I love our team and my family and I make sure we are ready to rock for every game.  We always have viewing parties at my father-in-laws or my house and are known to holler and scream at the TV!  Hope all is well with all of you, and GO COLTS!
