How can a game manager at one time break the record for most passing touchdowns in a season with 49 which included 6 passing touchdowns vs Miami and appear in 5 Super Bowls?, Consistent is the most important word you said out of those 7 you used to describe the Pats offense, I dont think 49 touchdowns (6 coming in one game) is boring, predictable? yes but those kinds of passes are heck to stop, we should know, teams have been dinking and dunking on us for years with short quick routes all the way down the field. The other method obviously works of slingiing it down the field sure but alot more risks are involved

I get what he was saying. The Pats offense doesn't call for Brady to make as many difficult throws as other offenses. That doesn't mean he can't make those throws, it just means he usually doesn't have to. Football is about winning at the end of the day, and what the Pats are doing on offense is very efficient and safe. It's smart football and it wins games, but at times, it IS very boring to watch. I can see why someone would make the comparison of Tom Brady to a game manager. He's still one of the GOAT, though

I think all we want, as Colts fans, is just a little more balance. Not too much of either extreme. I don't mind us taking shots downfield, so long as it's not every other pass, and so long as they are connecting more times than not. When they don't connect, it causes our offense to stall because we end up in so many 3rd and longs.

I said Super Game Manager. He never throws the difficult passes because he doesn't have to. He just throws the correct pass almost all the time. Isn't that the definition of game manager? It's not his fault, but if asked to do what Luck and RG3 are doing, I really don't think he could do it. If he went 1 year with an inferior Oline, he would be toast.

He lost his Pro Bowl Left Tackle, Has been having to compete with his own defense (at least Secondary) to win games, What exactly has Robert Griffin done that Brady has not done? I like Robert Griffin, he has looked impressive but lets be honest if Griffin becomes half the QB that Brady is then Griffin will have had a pretty darn good career, Brady won the Super Bowl his first year after being subbed in for an injured Bledsoe, Brady has led the Pats to 5 Super Bowl appearances (winning 3), Brady once held the all time passing touchdown record in a season, 2 time super bowl mvp. NFL Comeback player of the year in 2009. 7 Pro Bowls, 2 time MVP, 2007, 2010. If Robert Griffin even comes close to sniffing an ounce of that success then he would be a great QB, Honestly though I dont see him having anywhere near that success, Like him alot but dont see it happening at least not yet

Never mind all that. If you can win doing it, then who cares???
