Go watch another team play. I may of been upset at the end result, but this team is FULL of rookies and I'm darn proud of what they did. Would I of liked them to play better? Of course. Was I expecting a win? Not at all. I would of liked it to happen, but I didn't expect it at all.

These are kids fresh out of college going against guy's that have been doing this for years. Cheer up. The season isn't over by any means, and we still have 6 more weeks of football. We can easily go 4-2 or 5-1 in these next set of games. Manning didn't beat Brady this season either, and guess what? Denver's season ISN'T OVER.

If you wanna proclaim the sky is falling and that we're terrible, then go root for another team.

The TRUE and REAL fans will still be here supporting the Colts each week, and I darn sure know I'll be wearing my Luck jersey all the time. Win or lose, I'm here. :blueshoe:

as painful as it was i watched the whole game now i owe someone 10 dollars lol

Be proud of this team. They have come farther than most thought possible.

My philosophy at least.

Very well said.. The fact that we are lingered with key injuries and have a handful of rookies who actually start is actually scary for every other nfl team.

Good young team. The defense needs a lot of work though. We were missing both starting guards and there was still hardly any pressure. You now see why Butler was cut. Solid LB play but I think everywhere else needs work.

So does yours. Talib is a start.

Here was the measuring stick.

We didn't measure up.

The forced throws I've been seeing over the last few weeks - against bad teams, that have been dropped or were brought back due to penalty - ended up as picks today.

Painter/Orlovsky didn't do any worse quite honestly.

Sadly, our running game looked great and we stopped the run fairly well for a bit.

Turning off a game like this doesn't mean you aren't a true fan....get over yourself.

I watched until the 2nd pick 6 Luck threw. The fact that I found a better way to spend the rest of the game doesn't make me any less of a fan then you are.

This team will be fine and hopefully learn from this. Turning it off just means you can make better use of your time.

I think our LBs played ok. but tough matchups when it comes to the Tes and the slot guys unless a team is deep at CB the Pats will be unstoppable.

It was very frustrating, discouraging and painful but I never even turned the channel. I'm very proud to be a colts fan. Always have been and always will be.

Well, since you're the judge of who is and who isn't a "TRUE and Real" fan, are there any other rule that all "TRUE and Real" fans must abide by?

That's like saying its OK for assistants and third stringers to go to the locker room because they have better things to do

Oh, I guess supporting them until the end is a waste of time. Get over YOURSELF and don't chastise me for calling someone out. I managed to catch up on laundry and do some dishes, but I STILL had the game on and watched it until the last play.

Don't be a jerk because I made a valid point.

This was the only game on so I didn't have another one to turn to. The only thing learned from this whipping is that we a ways to go to build this team.

It's nothing like that be it's their job to stay there until the end. With your logic, season ticket holders are better fans than non season ticket holders.

Its no different from the fans leaving from the stands early to save 5 minutes of time waiting in traffic. I personally don't like people as fans that do that

Well we made N.E. defense look pretty darn good today. Snowglobe is right...our defense DOES need a ton of work. That was pathetic. Time for Colts to lick their wounds and rebound for Buffalo.

Okay. How about the Steelers and Ravens? I hope that's okay because it is pretty much the only option until Thursday.

They ask way too much of this rookie qb. The punt return and pick 6 put this game on a totally different track than it started on. Everyone relax and remember what thhis year is all about.

They are on the right track and will soon be a dominate team that we can enjoy for years to come.

So I guess fans that get to the game 5 minutes late or fans that leave in the middle of the game to get a beer aren't real fans either?

People who try to judge other people's fandom are ridiculous.

I wasn't aware people were gonna cry over this post.

If you call people out in general by saying they don't deserve to be fans of the team they support and are emotionally attached to... This is what you should expect. I don't understand how it could come as a surprise.

People are not "whining". They're just opposing your view points. If you can't take critique to your opinions, then maybe a discussion forum is not for you.

Lol no. By running late or grabbing a beer, its nothing like leaving early, which kinda seems like you're giving up. Which isn't cool.

seriously? You are comparing a FAN and a PLAYER/COACH and what their requirements should be??

They are PAID to be there....if the Colts want to pay me a 6 figure salary to stand on the sidelines, I'll be there from start to finish too....

Tell me again, how I'm not supporting my team by not watching the last 10 minutes of them getting shredded by turning off the TV.

Do you think they honestly care if I turn off my TV or not?

I never said "you don't deserve to be a fan" I simply said if you do nothing but complain, or want to act as if we're finished after a loss to a Super Bowl team, then go root for someone else. There are plenty of fans who will root and stick around until the end for this team. I'm not opposed to other opinions, but if someone can't handle the truth then maybe they shouldn't be on this forum. I'm more surprised at the negativity that comes with someone speaking the truth than anything. I suppose perception is in the eye of the beholder. My eyes see different than some I guess.

    • 2015-2016 Indiana Pacers (And rest of the NBA) Season
I started watching Basketball in the late 70's (around 1977 when I was super young) so I will just list guys I have seen live. I never seen Wilt or Russell play so I wont list them. So My top 5 Centers out of the guys I have seen roughly since the late 70's would be: 1. Kareem 2. Shaq 3. Hakeem - I put him 3rd. He was better Defensively than Kareem or Shaq but wasn't near the scorer as those 2 were. Both Shaq and Kareem have more career Points and he's not even close to Kareem in Points scored. Kareem won 6 League MVP's, Hakeem and Shaq only 1 so that isn't even close either. Yes Hakeem had great Post moves but Kareem was much taller and had the SkyHook which he could shoot 10 feet away from the basket. It was the most unstoppable shot in NBA history actually. I put Shaq 2nd. A lot of people remember Hakeem getting the better of Shaq in the 1995 Finals but in fairness to Shaq he was only in his 3rd season, Hakeem was in his 10th with Championship experience. Shaq actually averaged 27 Points and 10 Rebounds in that Finals but the Magic got swept so it looked worse than what it was for Shaq. I'll take Shaq from 2000-2002 over anything Hakeem accomplished. He was the most dominant player at the Center position I ever seen in those 3 seasons. Shaq is also 1 of only 2 players that won 3 straight Finals MVP's, Jordan being the only other. 4. Moses Malone - IMO he was better than Robinson. Robinson while being a fantastic athlete was soft at times and didn't win anything of importance until Duncan got on the team. Moses Malone carried Doctor J to his only Ring in 1983. 5. David Robinson - I didn't list Wilt or Russell simply because this list is based on my eye test. When it comes to Duncan you can either put him in this category which is Greatest Centers or in the PF category. Most put him in the PF category is why I didn't list Duncan here. Duncan is definitely the better player when you compare him to Robinson regarding just comparing players though.
    • 2016 Fantasy Football Leagues
Hello again all,   1. There will be no keepers from the previous season and the draft order will be randomized. We can discuss keepers going forward, but this is something that needs to be determined pre-draft, so who's for it?   2. Currently there are 6 bench positions and 1 IR position. I think bench positions are extremely important for bye weeks, and handcuffs in case your star player goes down. I'd entertain lowering the bench numbers if a majority are in favor. I think down two is a bit much myself, I'd be much more comfortable with one.   3. I have no problem extending the return yardage points to players, again majority rules.   4. I don't like the idea of having another flex RB position, There are not that many quality RB's in the league and I think doing that will have all of the RB's coming off the board very early in the draft, with the ability to start 4 RB's on gameday. Current Flex are WR/RB and WR/TE. The WR/TE was an experiment last year and I think it worked out well.   Just a reminder, we also have QB's at 6pts per passing TD, just throwing that out there.   I've asked @Colt92 to chime in, he was the commissioner of the Joe's league last season and he could provide some insight on Joe's hopefully.   Here is who I have as returning (Bold), haven;t heard from the others as of yet, if you know them ask them to check in!   1. IndyD4U 2. AxeIF 3. SilentHill 4. Out of Bounds 5. God Hates Jags 6. The Forever Unclean's 7. ? 8. The Mythical White Cornerback 9. Broosters 10. Bodacious Mantises 11. Fresh4Life 12. ?
    • Defensive expectation for Indy in 2016
The D can be really good if: 1. Art Jones can have a healthy season. 2. Henry Anderson can have a healthy season. 3. D-Juan Smith can progress. 4. Nate Irving and Sio Moore are healthy. 5. The rookies learn the system quickly. I guess it is pretty easy to see the recurring theme among the players mentioned that are not rookies.
    • The Trouble With Andrew Luck
I believe Luck's numbers will improve drastically if there is a chance that the Colts can get a first down on 3rd and 2 running the ball. This would lead to nice play-action options that are hard to defend. I thought the author was fairly accurate as far as he went.

Hello my Name is Robin. And i'm from Denmark. even though i've been member on this forum for a long time, and the old one as well. I would like to Introduce myself. I became a Colts fan in 2007, when I watched my first NFL game. My brother introduced me to NFL, the superbowl between Colts & Bears, And as we all know the Bears scored first, so I had to rude for the "underdogs".. and from that day on I was hooked. I've watched every game since, even the primetime games, that starts 2:30 in Denmark, it's a long day working with no sleep but damn its worth it. Can't wait for my next big Colts adventure, when I get to see them playing in London

I have been a fan since 1984 when I became an early teen and really started to understand the game. Colts moved to Indianapolis in 1984 and eventhough we stunk for a while, things obviously got better. We traded for Dickerson in 1987 and won the Division, then we had Harbaugh's magical season in 1995, the Peyton ERA where winning 12 games was a piece of cake + winning a SB in 2006, now the Andrew ERA where we have already had 3 11 win seasons and a deep Playoff run.
