I tend not to worry about NE running backs. Tom B is the concern. although he is clearly over-rated.

You have the wrong Avatar to respond....but come on. Not won a SB for 8 years. Nice smudges under his eyes though.

Yep, some how some way that "shut the front door" has been able to consistently stand there with plenty of time and his o-line has pretty much ate everyone for breakfast any given Sunday and is doing nothing but laughing at people like Cory Redding while watching film preparing for our Colts so all I've got to say is we better be ready to wipe those "shut the freaking front door" smudges off that pretty boy metrosexuals face because I have a great feeling it's going to happen because our Colts are more passionate than a freight train comin' down those tracks...

Is this to me? If so what does my Avatar have to do with anything? TB is not over rated. Many like to say PM only won 1 Sb because of his team. Last I checked winning is a team thing. It is not his fault they have not won any SBs in the last 8 years. Saying he is over-rated is a big

Brady is far from being overrated I hate the Pats as do most Colt fans but I will not take anything from Brady he is a furture HOF QB and he may not have won a SB in 8 years but he has been there plus he has 3 rings. In order to beat Brady we have to apply some real consistent pressure and stop the run aka Ridley...

While I will admit that it has been awhile since Tom Brady won his last SB in 2004 when the Patriots defeated the Philadelphia Eagles to win Super Bowl XXXIX, however I am a firm believer that a stout defense wins championships. Just ask Tedy Bruschi, Willie McGinest, and Richard Seymour.

Tom Brady cannot play defense and special teams too now can he? Yes, it has been a 8 year SB victory drought in NE that is true, but getting back to the Lombardi Promiseland in 2012 is nothing to sneeze at or dismiss either IMHO.

Overrated only you consider him the best QB to ever play.

If you put him top 10 or top 5 there's plenty of legitimate reason to do so. He's a great QB.

I think Braveheart was kidding but that could have been the single-malt talking too.

Brady does, however, lead the league in eye smudges, as he does every year. And no one rocks the Uggs like our metroQB!

You know me so well Mr J.......my 'coma' typo was indeed down to some single malt (89 Balblair), and some wine and hard ciders after a night in Sticky Fingers restaurant (the one owned by Bill Wyman). Tom is certainly the MVP of under eye smudges. Brees doesn't come close.

    • Ok, that's fine. But can you enlighten me on why you think he will be fine. What have you seen that makes you think he's better than Butler? Especially since he's rarely been on field. Hopefully he will be as good as Revis but he needs to be playing at some point.
    • Lets not get to carried away while we'v seen some good things its just the preseason its hard to judge the play on the field in these glorified practices lets wait until the regular season starts against starters stupid penalties need to be addressed that stood out glaringly , I'm hopeful & I believe this year will be much better but we are just getting started with 2 preseason games in the books we'v seen flashs I can agree with that but the sizzle can fizzle I need to see more consistency for 60 minutes before I buy what your selling .
    • Why did John Spanos, the President Of Football Operations in San Diego, even release this statement publicly about Bosa?    http://www.profootballrumors.com/2016/08/john-spanos-joey-bosas-holdout-absolutely-asinine   Why feel the need to air your dirty laundry about negotiations that broke down or never came to mutual fruition? It's so amateur & unprofessional IMO. Just say to your fan base that Bosa rejected your new offer, doesn't wanna play here, & move on.    Spanos looks like a darn cry baby. Grow the hades up John Jesus. If I was a free agent, I'd never wanna play for the Chargers since they put their grievances in the public eye if they are ticked off in the front office. Private player contract negotiations need to stay behind closed doors. Who cares if Bosa hasn't signed his rookie deal? He's not costing San Diego any money right now. Okay, your pick was a wash big deal. It happens all the time. Just cut your loses & turn the page John.    What's asinine John is your childish, unprofessional behavior in this case John.
    • The MIGHTY football God Belichick has once again struck fear into the Colts fans with a wave of a hand in the media. May God have mercy on our football souls.
    • I agree Bosa is not a Colt, if he were he would already be signed .

    • Hey there Amy,    Nice to meet ya & don't be shy. It's an awesome mixture of deep thinkers, jokesters, & diehard horseshoe fans here. All opinions & perspectives are welcome here. We have football fanatics, causal observers, & just curious people on here who like to vent, blow steam, broaden their horizons, & just chuckle at stuff the regulars always say. All team allegiances are encouraged to express themselves politely & peacefully here, which is pretty cool too.    I just watch the games at home on Direct TV Sunday ticket by myself usually.
