Not saying you can't find a "good" RB in different parts of the draft. Same logic can be used for CB's, LB's and other positions that vary in depth depending on the draft. My point is that Barkley is a RB that looks to have elite-level talent, not just "good".
As tempting as it would be to take Barkley, I’m hoping they can trade down to #6 (Jets), still get Chubb and get another pick or two.
Even if they don’t trade down, you need someone to get pressure on Watson, Mariota, et al.
(QBs seem to be coming into the league and picking things up quicker.)
I just think it would be easier to get a good back in later rounds than a guy like Chubb.
I am afraid that Mewhort's playing days are over if it truly is osteochrondral. Without something like adult stem cell as someone mentioned (Cartilage regeneration ) the cartilage will not grow back. This procedure seems more common but for a 300#+ athlete I don't like the odds. May have already tried it but we don't know.
