Redding didn't have any hair to begin with. now Mcafee is going to look like a whole different person. they need to let him kick field goals and just let vinateri kick them in the 4th quarter(the only time I trust vinateri now) lol

Now why put the highlighted in this thread? It absolutely is a tired argument and this thread is most certainly not the right place for it.

...because having hair is good for being clutch. That's why Jon Gruden was so much better than Tony Dungy.

Not sure if I'd call him a "class act".

Pat McAfee@PatMcAfeeShow

@ItsTheSituation stay safe during the storm!!”~ You're the reason 4 the storm. Sandy, much like the rest of America, thinks you're a *

Pat McAfee@PatMcAfeeShow

The expected point of entry 4 Sandy is directly @ Jersey Shore..It's like she thinks The Situation is there & wants 2 punish his *yness

While I personally like these jokes from McAfee, it wouldn't normally be something a "class act" would write.

Who is this Dinald Brown you are speaking of, or should I say typing? Kidding... I think this is a great show of unity for the team, and as a person who prefers to shave his head an all around cool move.

Ron Burgundy was classy and did you see all the crazy stuff he did? What a legend he was.

That being said I've never been a big fan of athletes and the whole social media thing. I'd probably have a twitter and FB account but wouldn't rant on them constantly.

Leather-heads....

As I've read on NF.com:

"We're a family and the coach is almost like a father figure. When something happens, you want to rally behind him."

"There's something special happening in Indy this season."

A wonderful cause.....my fiance's daughter Katie is Asian and has the most gorgeous black silky hair in the world. She came up to Mommy and said....." want to donate my hair to "Locks of Love." To be 9 and offer that went straight to my heart (I found out I had one :))

Katie donated 10 inches of beautiful hair to cancer......what an awesome young lady!

Great job Pat and Cory!!! Heads shaved and proud! Great job Reggie for wearing orange in constant support of coach..... :highfive: :number1::thmup:  :headspin: Mine is going when I am 50........if I shaved it now.....I would be confused for special ops...... :peek::rawr: You can run but you cannot hide son.......!!!!!

Colts owner Jim Irsay wrote on Twitter that several players have already gone bald to show their support for Pagano.

“Buzzed heads abound in our locker room right now in honor of Chuck!” Irsay wrote.

Colts long snapper Matt Overton tweeted the picture you see here of himself, punter Pat McAfee and kicker Adam Vinatieri, all of whom shaved their heads today.

Colts players shave heads to honor Chuck Pagano

The Indianapolis Star reported Tuesday that more than two dozen players along with other team personnel shaved their heads in support of Pagano. The coach -- who was diagnosed with leukemia in September -- started a second round of chemotherapy this week.

A great move by all

I can't join in since I had an unfortunate run in with a metal table and concrete floor as a Kindergartener and split my head open.

    • I wanted to get a very general understanding of what this team does well -- what our strengths are. Unfortunately, we don't do anything well. Perhaps punting, as Rigo Sanchez has been outstanding.   OFFENSE: League ranking out of 32 teams Total offense - #27 Rushing - #20 Passing - #26   Defense: League ranking out of 32 teams Total defense - #31 Rush Defense - #19 (#18 YPA) Passing - #30   I understand that our passing offense is going to struggle without Andrew Luck, so I will not worry about that too much. It will also effect our offense's ability to run, since teams will not worry too much about our passing game and can focus on stopping the run.    We have been excited about our run defense, but it's not good. It's below average, however, it's an improvement for the Colts who were ranked #25 last year. Some will say that poor offensive play has led to the struggles on defense, but I will point out that for years the Texans and the Jaguars have had horrible QB play, yet have maintained a good defense, (Texans #1 and Jaguars #6 last year, Cleveland Browns #8 this year). We cannot use that as an excuse.   It's simple, this year's Colts team is not good. It's part of a rebuild and I see that talent is better than we've had in years past. I think this team will gradually improve as the year progresses and we will be more competitive next year.
    • It appeared Mack and Hooker struggled more in this game than prior games.  Mack appeared to have a great opportunity to score a long TD run but he cut it back inside instead of using his blocker to get farther outside where it looked like clear sailing.  Other plays showed a similar lack of his full ability.  Hooker was schooled on the long pass play and especially by Henry near the sideline.  Hooker needed to get even with Henry, not ahead of him, to push him out of bounds.  It didn't help that the trailing backer failed to recognize that Hooker had cut off the sideline so that Henry's only move was back inside.  Hooker needed to get lower and trip up Henry's ankle or foot, not hit him where he's strongest in the thigh.   Are these young players simply showing their inexperience or is something else involved?  Is Mack hurting physically from being subjected to NFL hits?  Does he have the requisite durability to play running back in this league? or is he better suited to be a slot receiver?  Hooker didn't look explosive at any time in this game -- is he healthy?  Is he hesitating because he's insecure in reading opposing veteran QBs?   I'm hoping it's mostly inexperience.
    •     Since Pagano is at the helm I'll take a wild stab and say the Colts will:    Run up the middle every down using Gore and Mack sits on bench  Don't run any plays to get TY open  Don't max protect when Jags blitz  Don't run any screens, slants, bootlegs, play action, or designed QB runs
    •   Frank Gore, no doubt. Highest floor and a decent ceiling.    Ted Ginn, not enough consistent looks at all for a good floor. Kyle Rudolph is still TD dependent.    Blount is the other option but with the emergence of Jeffery, Ertz and Agholor, and the Redskins' pass D not nearly as potent as the Jags' pass D, the odds of Blount getting more carries than Gore is less (but you never know with the Colts OC )
    • Yep...I also like the ones on the outdoorsman network...with the deer in the woods...funny...and the one that about their sliders that says something like...if the other guy is charging $1 for a regular sandwich...then there is something wrong with that sandwich! lol .....my favorite! Not a huge fast food place but dang there are times I just have to go...so many good sandwiches, from their buffalo sliders to beef n cheeders to French dip to market fresh they have it all.
