Redding didn't have any hair to begin with. now Mcafee is going to look like a whole different person. they need to let him kick field goals and just let vinateri kick them in the 4th quarter(the only time I trust vinateri now) lol

One assistant coach and four members of the Colts' equipment room staff also had their heads shaved.

Now why put the highlighted in this thread? It absolutely is a tired argument and this thread is most certainly not the right place for it.

...because having hair is good for being clutch. That's why Jon Gruden was so much better than Tony Dungy.

Not sure if I'd call him a "class act".

Pat McAfee@PatMcAfeeShow

@ItsTheSituation stay safe during the storm!!”~ You're the reason 4 the storm. Sandy, much like the rest of America, thinks you're a *

Pat McAfee@PatMcAfeeShow

The expected point of entry 4 Sandy is directly @ Jersey Shore..It's like she thinks The Situation is there & wants 2 punish his *yness

While I personally like these jokes from McAfee, it wouldn't normally be something a "class act" would write.

Who is this Dinald Brown you are speaking of, or should I say typing? Kidding... I think this is a great show of unity for the team, and as a person who prefers to shave his head an all around cool move.

Ron Burgundy was classy and did you see all the crazy stuff he did? What a legend he was.

That being said I've never been a big fan of athletes and the whole social media thing. I'd probably have a twitter and FB account but wouldn't rant on them constantly.

Leather-heads....

As I've read on NF.com:

"We're a family and the coach is almost like a father figure. When something happens, you want to rally behind him."

"There's something special happening in Indy this season."

A wonderful cause.....my fiance's daughter Katie is Asian and has the most gorgeous black silky hair in the world. She came up to Mommy and said....." want to donate my hair to "Locks of Love." To be 9 and offer that went straight to my heart (I found out I had one :))

Katie donated 10 inches of beautiful hair to cancer......what an awesome young lady!

Great job Pat and Cory!!! Heads shaved and proud! Great job Reggie for wearing orange in constant support of coach..... :highfive: :number1::thmup:  :headspin: Mine is going when I am 50........if I shaved it now.....I would be confused for special ops...... :peek::rawr: You can run but you cannot hide son.......!!!!!

Colts owner Jim Irsay wrote on Twitter that several players have already gone bald to show their support for Pagano.

“Buzzed heads abound in our locker room right now in honor of Chuck!” Irsay wrote.

Colts long snapper Matt Overton tweeted the picture you see here of himself, punter Pat McAfee and kicker Adam Vinatieri, all of whom shaved their heads today.

Colts players shave heads to honor Chuck Pagano

The Indianapolis Star reported Tuesday that more than two dozen players along with other team personnel shaved their heads in support of Pagano. The coach -- who was diagnosed with leukemia in September -- started a second round of chemotherapy this week.

A great move by all

I can't join in since I had an unfortunate run in with a metal table and concrete floor as a Kindergartener and split my head open.

    •   You think we're content?      Really?   I think if we were content then we wouldn't have traded for Brissett.        We would have hunkered down with Tolzein and ridden out the storm.   I don't think there's any part of this franchise that is content....
    •   I'm pretty sure the highest paid coach in college is Nick Saban.     I'm sure Harbaugh is top-5,  just not the highest...
    •   Gruden spoke very highly of Hooker last night.   And he didn't like Hooker's tackling in college.     I think he loved the rest of his game.
    • We all saw the way Pep got production & usage out of our backs. Especially Bradshaw & even Trent.  If he could get Trent touches & production, I assure you that Mack would have gotten more than 2 carries under Pep and he would have been used effectively out of the backfield too. Plus, I think he would have gotten another tight end some touches with Doyle struggling...     Chud is just an extension of Chuck’s incompetence. Same for Monachino. If Irsay doesn’t allow Ballard to clean house, then it’s time for him to sell the team to Peyton &/or others because the incompetence would have spread too far if they are retained again. The guy is just not HC material. We drafted a damn Rolls Royce in Luck & gave the keys to an incompetent fool who clearly has no business behind the wheel.   I wouldn’t be surprised if Luck’s family didn’t pull a power move & say we’re not allowing Andrew to come back until he’s surrounded by competent coaches...  Has to be hard for a guy with NFL experience to see his son’s career being wasted because of incompetence... If things keep trending like they have been, I see no reason to bring Luck back this year.    Just hire a new HC soon in the offseason & get Luck the playbook early so he can start learning.
    •   Actually,  I don't think that's true.     Andrew did NOT love Harbaugh at Stanford.     I'd say he liked him.   He loved Harbaugh as a coach,   but not so much as a person.     Remember,  Harbaugh wares out his welcome everywhere he goes...   and he did at Stanford.      Harbaugh is a better coach than Shaw,   but Shaw is a better person.   Would Andrew like to have Harbaugh as his new HC?      I'd guess yes....   but he'd be cautioning his teammates to brace themselves for Harbaugh....    he's like a hurricane.       And in 4-5 years,  Harbs would likely be done here in Indy....        That's just how he rolls...   By the way,  my info comes from parents of other Stanford players who played with Luck during the Harbaugh years.
