Our players will have a different voice at several coaching positions, hopefully the results work out for the better. Ryan Kelly is actually a better accomplished physical specimen than anyone we've had at center, IMO. Jeff Saturday in fact was an overachiever, without large expectations coming in, IMO. Ryan Kelly would be the opposite, he will be walking into a situation with high expectations.
If we don't win the SB, I at least want a win vs the Steelers or Patriots for a signature win this season. It would be sweet to take down the Broncos on the road as well
I read that he was in a car accident before the 2015 season, which made it difficult for him to get back into shape, since he was limited with his workouts from the injury. I believe the injury caused some back problems.
He played through the pain, and played out of ideal shape in 2015, which led to a statistical decline. He'll have an off-season now to recover and get in shape. I am excited about this pick!
Late 1st- Early 2nd round talent who we got in the 4th in my opinion. Could be a steal. If you look at him again at the combine you can see he doesn't have much of a gut on him at all. Hips are a little tight when trying to make a tackle in the open field sometimes which might limit his ability to make plays somewhat 1 on 1 but he should be able to create plenty of pressure if in shape and healthy
Definitely, my grandfather lived in Baltimore for a while and grew up watching him. He still pulled for Indy but always referred to them as Baltimore. I wasn't allowed to say the name Irsay in my house. The game sure has changed. I wish I could go back in time when players didn't get flagged for breathing on a player and defenses were actually feared by offenses.
