Donald Brown (knee) has been downgraded to questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Brown was listed as probable after returning to a full practice Friday, but team doctors reportedly found swelling in his knee Saturday. His Week 9 status is now in doubt. Brown will be re-evaluated Sunday as a game-time decision. Even if active, he would be used in a committee role with Vick Ballard.

Appearing on NFL Network's GameDay Morning, Albert Breer reported that Donald Brown (knee) is unlikely to play on Sunday against the Dolphins.

Brown was downgraded from probable to questionable late on Saturday after the running back experienced swelling in his knee. Brown missed Weeks 6 and 7 after undergoing a knee scope but returned last week against the Titans. Vick Ballard will now take over feature back duties and could even play on third downs after the release of Mewelde Moore last week.
