I see your point, I was thinking the same thing in preseason.
however Rogers has made some plays and can fill in for Dorsett for one game against Jax I think. Get Doyle involved (he's on hot streak, haha) Heck, smith and McCray looked good too. We also have the guy we brought in late (name escapes me), and Bray. It would have been nice to have the experience, but at the time there wasn't an available WR that really fit I think.
moncrief should be back soon and I'd like to see what Rogers can do. I do agree Dorsett will be missed if he can't go. I really like what I see in Dorsett.
i think any team that has #2 and #3 WR on the bench would equally be effected. I don't see our WR depth any worse than other teams. Better actually. Maybe unproven, but that's common I think.
Which receivers travelled to London? Anybody know?
I just think if most people do it then either most people should be caught or they should just mske it legal, I guess. I don't understand why some guys fail the test yet most people claim most players are on peds
Okay, you're right. I incorrectly flipped it. I will own that. It was still a boring game IMO probably because I knew the fins were gonna suck & they lived up to my lowered expectations.
I just don't see the need for TNF except for the owners to rake in more dough. If INDY's on will I watch it? Absolutely. I accept TNF is here to stay, but I hate it because it accelerates injury risk if INDY just played Sunday & now must get ready for a short week to hit another player a few days later.
Hi, Nils here....
I know a lot of Europeans support the Patriots, but all I can say is no way man, no way!
I'm not entirely sure when I started to follow and cheer for the Colts, but I has no shame in admitting that it was when Manning begun to really shine. It was probably back in 1999 because I seem to remember that play-off game against the Titans.
I also remember the I loved how the Colts would play a beautiful offensive game whereas other teams were boring with their defensive strengths. Aaaahh, those were the days!
I was introduced to American Football during my American Politics/presidential election study in Washington D.C. in the fall of 1996 (Clinton vs Dole). Didn't really get attached to any team back then, so you can say that Redskins just left me totally uninspired.
It is a great and welcoming forum here - and that is just how I remembered America too.
