See my post above. Do you think he could last until 9? I know morris would like to go defense as that’s his specialty and feels a need… -

Thoughts? Schrager “tends” to be the most accurate mock drafter as he has sourced information based on conversations he has. He has the Colts moving to the 9 spot to grab Nabers. I would be extremely elated. I was also like to point out that the 9 spot is best position to also possibly grab Turner and or Bowers. Don’t think it would take much. Lots of smoke going on..Feels like Ballads may finally move up this year. 9 days left! -

I just too another look. We would HAVE to be in the Cardinals spot. I don’t think he isn’t making it past the Giants. -

I’m not sure how I would act if we pulled this off! Elated would be a gross understatement. Maybe he can pull a Eli or Elway and demand that he wants to play here instead 😁 -

Yeah - I couldn’t have put it any better than that. I just think folks were expecting him to break out of his regiment seeing that Richardson showed promise, so ergo “why not” be more aggressive if you feel you have that dude? I’ll wait until we get the actual season, but we are putting an expectational amount stress on our developing players to perform next year. -

Rest assured my friend. They’ll be sure to have us play the Texans opening night IN Texas. -

That’s where I’m at right now. I’m not hopeless, BUT I am concerned about how well we will stack up when the season officially starts. To be continued… -

I don’t think that’s the case… It’s not even Diggs being signed that has folks up in arms. It’s that the one weakness we had (defense) not being properly addressed and other teams adding offensive playmakers. That’s not a great recipe for us to succeed. People are hopeful for the Colts to succeed. Don’t think anyone is demanding a rebuild. We are just putting a LOT of stock on AR to be amazing (which I think he will) and a slam dunk draft to keep us competitive. Hope is fleeting. Actual moves being made is tangible. We havent done much on the latter. -

LOOK AT THIER OFFENSE 😭. Texans were absolutely going WR in the draft. They just decided that getting a proven entity was the better solution. More WR selections for us? Yay? -

We’re going to need something on defense. DE or CB. Is it a stretch to hope that Gus is more creative this season? “Running it back” or a going to get us smoked. -

I’m still in the belief that if we get cooked this season Ballard “may” not make it. I’m praying AR is the real deal and can stay healthy. The Texans offense is absolutely loaded right now. We already had trouble stopping them already. Now they added Mixon and Diggs. *Sigh* -

Man. The hits in the AFC South keep coming. Going DE at 15 then trading back into the first for a WR may be the answer. -
Sounds like you warmed up to CB at 15 instead of a WR which I agree with. Someone like Terrion Arnold wound be a game changer and welcome addition. Can’t forget that a little bit ago Sauce Gardner came into the league and had instant success and was DROY. I feel that AR will elevate the offense more than some think it will. Rather go WR at pick 45 or trade back into the first and pick up Xaivier Worthy.

It’s not about Sneed! lol. Folks are upset because there were a good number of solid CB’s taken in FA that we could have had. So, naturally there were many that pinned their hopes onto sneed. With that reality now gone we’re faced with some average to bargain bin type players to fill a position of need. The anger is exacerbated by the fact that we need weapons for AR to help get him developed, not getting even younger in the secondary. -

As soon as I saw the trade I knew things were about to get a bit spicy. Twitter (X) was exploding last night and I’m seeing forum members this morning who are generally even keeled sharing their grievances now too. I’ve been all aboard the Ballard train for a long while but I’m about ready to hop off. It’s not about waiting for AR to show what he has before going all in. It’s about making obvious improvements to the team in areas of glaring need. I know we have a bit to go but hopefully this season is mildly successful. If not the angst will be even louder, especially after doubling down on the same players and defensive coordinator. -

This sums it up for me. I’ve been pro Ballard for a long while. This off season so far has been pushing me a bit. Guess let’s see how the draft and season plays out. -

I think Grisgson said the same thing here during his free agency frenzy. The moniker “Dream team” gives me PTSD 😂 -

I think most people were hoping for at minimum a splash as this position. One of exceptional need. Giving out a crazy amounts of money for one player for “possible improvement” that in most cases doesn’t pan out is also a bit out there. Both things can be true. It’s just that Ballards moves haven’t panned out to much success for the fan base to understand his approach on team building. The pitchforks and torches will be out early if we get cooked throughout the season. Need a slam dunk draft like 2018. -

Wanted to give an early look at what our secondary will be next year. I think WR or bowers at 15 is gone. I’m hoping the pick is Terrian Arnold because we’ll need him. -
Lots of eggs going on some people’s face to today.
