Gotta be Rodgers at #1 with Brees at #2
When Bob Sanders executes a push up, he does not push himself up. He pushes the world down.
When Bob Sanders was 12, a cobra bit him in the leg. After 4 days of excruciating pain, the cobra died.
Tom Brady can throw a football pretty far. Bob Sanders can throw Tom Brady even farther.

Brees at 2? Hardly. He just puts up numbers. Give me Megatron at 2.
I will delete this when the new Colts win a playoff game.
I will delete this when the new Colts win a Super Bowl.

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Drew Brees
3. Tom Brady
4. Calvin Johnson
5. Jared Allen
6. Terrell Suggs
7. Rob Gronkowski
8. Darrelle Revis
9. Justin Smith
10. Larry Fitzgerald

Although I do have a hard time putting 3 QBs in the top spots, because with a player voting system, I would think they'd have a hard time giving so much credit to the pretty boy, glamorous, hollywood guy.

Ray Lewis was hurt for a few games and they didn't miss a beat. I have a hard time putting a Safety on my list so that's why I don't have Polamalu or Reed on it. I think both guys are on such quality defenses with smart coaches that I think we often overvalue their worth.

Brees at 2? Hardly. He just puts up numbers. Give me Megatron at 2.

It's a QB driven league and he had one of the best QB seasons in NFL history. I wanted to say Brady at 3, but I really hope that three QBs don't take the top 3 positions.

“There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man ... a
dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the
middle ground between light and shadow, between science and
superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit
of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.” - Rod Sterling

Curtis Painter for Colts fans, he is the reason we have a shot at another possible decade of good QB play. :)

I'd put A Rodge and Brady at the top for last season. (Rodgers first and Brady second)Both carried the worst defenses in their respective conferences too btw......

May the odds be ever in the Colts favor.

Actually the real question is if Luck will be on the list. It's for the 2012 season. Or is their a restriction to players not currently on an NFL Team
1st: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
3rd: Shamarko Thomas, SS, Syracuse
4th: Trevardo Williams, OLB, Connecticut

It's not determined by NFLN. The players vote on it. Eli didn't make the list last year. Will be interesting to see where they vote him this year. Will also be interesting to see where Peyton goes since it's supposed to be a vote on who they think the best players will be in 2012.

Oh it's a vote for NEXT year? I must have misread. I was going by last year alone.

The odds actually favor a QB like Rodgers having some declining numbers from last season. At the same time I hope their defense goes back to 2010 levels and they are more balanced as a team again.

May the odds be ever in the Colts favor.

I'd still say Rodgers has the top spot for 2012. Then Brees and then Brady, IMO. This is just about 2012, not the entire body-of-work. If that were the case then Brady and Manning (P, not E) would be 1 and 1-A.
