Colts Mock 1.0
1. Andrew Luck, QB

2. Kevin Zeitler, OG
Someone has to protect Luck or he will become David Carr, Justice is not a starter

3. Alameda Taamu, NT
A starting NT is needed, not a developmental, he will anchor the defense

4. Orson Charles, TE
He would become a top target for Luck and could fill the need at TE

5. DeQuan Menzie, CB
He would be great depth, he comes from Alabama, and was part of a top defense

5. Vontaze Burfict, ILB
Would be a low risk high reward

6. Miles Burris, OLB
Depth, could challenge for starting spot in a year

7. Audie Cole, LB
Depth

7. Joe Long, OL
Depth, could be starter with good coaching

7. Chris Owusu, WR
Deep threat

QB: Luck, Stanton, Vittatoe
RB: Brown, Carter, Evans
FB: Mahaffey
WR: Wayne, Avery, Ross
WR: Collie, Owusu, Fayson
TE: Charles, Eldridge, Gronkowski
LT: Castonzo, Linkenbach
LG: Reitz, Long
OC: Satele, Kirkpatrick
RG: Zeitler, Justice
RT: Ijalana, Tepper

LE: Moala, Mathews
NT: Taamu, McKinney
RE: Redding, Nevis
LOLB: Mathis, Hughes
ILB: Angerer, Burfict

No WRs until the 7th? OG in the second? LOL! Way to fill the major needs early!
I will delete this when the new Colts win a playoff game.
I will delete this when the new Colts win a Super Bowl.

three is a little heavy? Luck needs weapons that can stretch the field and rely on to remain healthy

Love Luck and Menzie where they are. Wouldn't mind Charles and Ta'Amu, but not sure if I want them with those picks. Burfict is high risk high reward as you say, but with the extra pick in the 5th, I'm ok with that. I'm not as big a fan of the OL at 34. I'd rather a WR at 34. And one of those late picks I think needs to be another TE - Provo from Syracuse or Hanna from Oklahoma. Arians likes TEs, and we'll need to find a couple more I think.

Menzie I think could be the Colts hidden gem if they don't go CB at 34. I really like Menzie, and would love to see him on the Colts.

james would add a differnet dimension to our offense with quick screens and home run ability. plus can be a returner.

maybe but I think hed get knocked down to easy hes just a runner in space, we need a guy that can get the tough yards i like him but not enough to draft him, he was impressive in college but only in space

If we don't pick Andrew Luck as the first pick we are missing out on a chance to have Peyton Manning all over again. It will take a few years and we need to add some good receivers that we let go and also the front line needs some work. Our defense was awful last year so there is a lot of work that needs to be done there also. What can I say. Rebuilding years to come to say the least. Hang in there fans. With the right players and management we could have a dynasty buildt again and and I believe it starts with Andrew Luck. GO COLTS!

if were gonna go offensive line it'll be cordy glenn or mike adams not zietler. if we look at our major need then that would be nt. mckinney is not a starter and rarely got much playing time. idk if tammu will be there in the 3rd so we may take him early

I saw a mock or two seeing Polk go to the 7th round, Ill take my chances with Allen lasting to the 4th he wont be anything close to the first round teams have other needs, ya dont draft a guy if ya dont need the guy high if ya dont need the guy badly, we need him worse then anyone but we have bigger needs to, Im not drafting him with my second, or 3rd, Im going Corner and Wide receiver, the earliest Ill take him is the 4th
