Both Kendall Reyes and Brandon Thompson are both big reaches at the 34 spot. As are a lot of your other picks. Just too many reaches in this draft.

5.Tommy Streeter

I know but their is a chance even if its slim he falls to the second round, I think my picks are pretty solid picks that can come in and contribute mostly right awayGilmore is most likely a first rounder. Even invited to the draft

I don't see Ta'Amu lasting till the 4th, No way Allen goes in the 5th round when he's considered the 2nd best TE behind Fleener and Streeter is likely to go in the 3rd round.1.Luck

2nd round. Vinny Curry, OLB: no one CB can cover WR for 10 seconds; however, Freeney is in final year of his contract and doesn’t want to play OLB; Jerry Hughes didn’t prove he wasn’t a bust, Mario Addison is a backup at best.
3rd round. Brandon Brooks, OG: there is only one serviceable OG in Colts roster, Joe Reitz; McGlynn, Murphy, Olsen, Tepper are backups/camp bodies (if Ijalana is going to play OG, then OT is a need, because Winston Justice is not a starter).
4th round. Nicolas Jean-Baptiste, NT: Brandon McKinney is just a backup.
5th round. James Hanna, TE.
5th round. Chris Rainey, RB: special teamer.
6th round. Adrien Robinson, TE: backup.
7th round. J.R Sweezy, DE: backup 5-tech.
7th round. Cody Johnson, FB: Colts have to use a FB.
7th round. Micah Pellerin, CB: special teamer/ backup/camp body.

Corner is a dire need
How do you figure that? CB is near the bottom of needs for a 3-4 D. Defensive Line makes that horse gallop...we need a NT or a DE before CB. I'd also put TE and WR above CB for this draft as well.

we can get Ta'amu or if push comes to shove we can get Baptiste, we have Moala that can play defensive end, Hickman can play defensive end, freeny, nevis, mathis in a rotation in different defensive packages, apparently you havent seen our corners get thrown on left and right for the last 14 years, after Fleener their is no other Tight End even being mentioned n any of the shows covering the draft let alone going early
and you haven't seen our line get run on? Moala is terrible. You and I have never seen Hickman play. Freeny is an OLB. Nevis is a 4-3 DT who apparently is hurt all the time, Mathis is an OLB. So again...we're back to square one.
The proof is in the pudding right? Well here ya go.
According to NFL.com's stat sheet in 2011...
The Colts were ranked 29th out of 32 teams against the run. Ranked higher than the Browns, Rams and Bucs.
The Colts were ranked 15th out of 32 teams against the pass. Ranked higher than the 49rs, Cardinals and Broncos.
We have bigger needs than DB's right now. It starts with the D-line.

I know what the stats are, I seen them a few times already, yes we need a defensive linemen primarily defensive tackle which we can get in the middle rounds, if we go corner in the middle or late rounds I guarantee you he will be a project player and will eventually be released because most project players are thats why they are projectsand you haven't seen our line get run on? Well I hate to break it to you but good players don't only exist in the 1st and 2nd round. Arian Foster was undrafted and he's now considered a top 5 running back. If Grigson does his job, he'll be able to spot those kinds of guys and get us going in the right direction. CB is not a premier position in a 3-4, thus we don't need to spend a high draft pick on it. The depth of NT and DE are far more shallow than CB's this year and we need to get some D-Line help immediately. Not saying we couldn't get one in a middle round, but the drop off of talent is way more substantial in that category.
Again, unless Claiborne or Gilmore are there, I'm going BPA, and there are plenty of 1st round talents to choose from that can help our team a lot more than a CB.

2nd round. Vinny Curry, OLB: no one CB can cover WR for 10 seconds; however, Freeney is in final year of his contract and doesn’t want to play OLB; Jerry Hughes didn’t prove he wasn’t a bust, Mario Addison is a backup at best.

I like your draft better than the other 2 except you have to toss in at least 1 corner I would think. Our GM is an ex Olineman and our coach was a Dcoordinator. I think your draft expresses what they deem important. While we would like an all WR draft

QB Andrew Luck, Stanford
DT Michael Brockers, LSU (will likely be long gone)
DT Alameda Ta'amu Washington (We have a legitimate shot at landing him)
TE Coby Fleener (odds are will not fall past the 49ers...but if he does, he should be there in round 2)
__________________
DE Tyrone Crawford, Boise State
CB Janoris Jenkins, North Alabama (A lot of teams are apparently pulling him completely off of their board and no doubt our visit with him will have a big impact on the decision)
C Gino Gradkowski, Delaware (Kinda light in the butt however Center is way thin in this draft. If we want one, he's the only thing around)
OLB Tim Fugger, Vanderbilt
DE Matt Conrath, Virginia (Maybe OLB)
LB D.J.Bryant, James Madison
TE Adrien Robinson, Cincinnati
CB Keith Tandy, West Virginia
CB Chris Greenwood, Albion
CB Dwight Bentley, Louisiana-Lafayette
S Tavon Wilson, Illinois
OG Brandon Brooks, U. of Miami, Ohio
P Brian Stahovich, San Diego State

I don't think so. It is a need but I don't think it trumps a Dlineman.

Spot on. A lot of Colts fans are perpetually calling for high CB selections. And a good one would be nice but our line is a priority and I suspect Pagano is thinking the same. Add in the reality that without Haloti Ngata, Ray Lewis is already retired. And the writing is on the wall with regards to how a 3/4 prospers.

IMO using #34 on a NT is a HUGE waste. Responding to Brian and Alfred.
yes. using a 2nd round pick on the most significant position in a 3-4 defense when you have a 6 year backup with a total of 39 career solo tackles....definitely a waste.. *sarcasm*

He wasnt even a backup for good 3-4 teams, the ravens and the chargers? Ha! They suck don't they?! *sarcasm* tired of wasting 2nd and 3rd round picks on DTs. You can't fix everything in one offseason, why reach?yes. using a 2nd round pick on the most significant position in a 3-4 defense when you have a 6 year backup with a total of 39 career solo tackles....definitely a waste.. *sarcasm*

I have to disagree with all of your points except that NT and TE are bigger needs (debatable). Our depth chart at corner looks awful. Rucker and Thomas were both embarrassingly bad last year. Corner is one of the most crucial positions in football, especially in a 3-4 where they have to have man coverage skills. The NFL is a quarterback's league. Pass coverage is nearly as important (if not equally) than pass rush, particularly when the unit has little talent and are learning a different system.

it ain't gonna happen nor would it be a smart move. We have to stop the run (NT) and rush the QB(OLB).
Thanks.
I want to explain why I’m not fond of idea drafting CB or WR with the 2nd or 3rd round picks. This year, I mean.
WR: last season Colts used I formation with only 2 WR (Wayne, Garson) a lot. That’s why Anthony Gonzalez was not utilized and Austin Collie was underutilized. With only 2 WR starting every week we don’t need 5-6 WR in roster. Right now Wayne is # 2 WR, and Austin Collie is #3 WR. We can’t get excellent #1 WR with our 2nd round pick (Blackmon, Floyd, Wright, Hill are 1st rounders for sure), but we can get excellent FB with our 6th round pick. So lets protect Luck by drafting OL with 2nd – 3rd round pick and help him to make a transition to the NFL by putting emphasis on running game.
CB: last season Colts had only 29 sacks, only Titans (28) and Buccaneers (23) had fewer. Sure, CB’s play was a part of it, but what part? I’m not ready to mark Rucker, Thomas as awful, I just want Colts to draft player, who is able to put heavy pressure on QB from 3-4 packages. Heck, even Derek Wolfe, 5-tech from Cincinnati has better value in 2nd round (if I remember correctly, Fili Moala, projected 5-tech in our new 3-4 defense, is in final year of his contract and Cory Redding is 31 years old).
