I think its the Jaguars. They have not made a single gain in the offseason and their team is just questionable guaranteed to have the 1st overall pick next year...

MJD is their only explosive player...

What do you think? Maybe the Browns too..

I don't agree with some of these, obviously...Bears are too high, so are the Eagles, and Cowboys.

And I think Jacksonville's proven D puts them above the Colts. They could run Henne out there and win 8 games.

Its the Colts until proven otherwise, your only as good as your last season, paper champions and talent on paper tells me nothing, what do they do on the field, we got a huge dose of what we were last year without manning, we were BY FAR the worst team

The guy that wrote the article is harsh but often times the truth is harsh, and I agree with everything he said except the colts are worse then the Jags to this point

Dont think we will be the worst this year, at this point I know ya got to play the games but its hard not to just say, With the first pick in the 2013 NFL Draft the Miami Dolphins select....But like I said until proven otherwise then we are the worst

i honestly think that after all these changes, we are no longer dead last. Adding experienced people like Ryan Grigson, Pagano, and former Steelers staff on offense and defense as well as moneyballing players. I find it hard to believe that we will be dead last.

We will be a surprise team this year coming up.

The Colts wil be much better than anticipated. Our main weakness last year was poor QB play. With Luck, there will be an improvement, and I can already see improvement with our defensive lineup. I'm excited for this year!

I dont think we will be the worst this year but the team has to come together still, on paper we look better in some spots but havent proven it on the field so we will see what happens, I wont start counting chickens before they hatch, optimism is always good though

So according to this. Next year the playoffs will be
1 seed - Giants and Patriots
2 seed - 49ers and Ravens
3 seed - Packers and Texans
4 seed - Saints and Broncos
5 seed - Bears and Steelers
6 seed - Eagles and Titans

Bottom 5 for 2012 in my opinion could easily be:

In alphabetical order

Indianapolis
Jacksonville
Minnesota
St. Louis
Tampa Bay

We refuse to put the Colts as the worst assuming we get Luck (or RGIII), but as of now, we are definately a strong consideration for worst team. The Browns have a better QB than us AT THE MOMENT, and they have draft picks in position to get much better. Jax has a strong D and MJD. I would have (in order):

IND
STL
MIA
MIN
JAC
CLE

After the draft, this will all change...

I agree with all of those except Tampa Bay they filled huge gaps with top talent this offseason, now its all up to Josh Freeman to not >>> it up, they could use another wide receiver though and corner to I think

I think the worst team next year will either be Jacksonville or Miami. Florida is not a good place to play football right now

I expect the bottom five to look very similar to this year. I'm just trying to find teams on their way down, but most I just see staying the same or falling only slightly. :P

He's a key. I think they have hired a good coach. They are in a tough division with all 3 teams head and shoulders better than them in my opinion. They might be able to get into the next 5 or so teams instead of the bottom 5 and push Cleveland into the bottom 5.

In many ways we are like an expansion team. we have very little consistency anywhere with the exception of our running game. based on that alone I would personally rank us last. I don't think we will be that bad but we do need to prove otherwise, so till then its 32nd.

I think a lot of people here are looking at our roster through beer goggles. At this point we have the least talented roster without a doubt., We have some outstanding players at some positions but they are more than offset by huge weaknesses at others. We have little depth. The fact the "d" is changing schemes will likely lead to some frustrating results too. With that said, I am excited about the future of the team. They have some exciting young players to build around and with a few solid drafts, we could be contenders again. Before the draft, we are the worst team. Clevland, St. Louis, Minn are weak too.

Best case scenario we win 8 games, worst case is a repeat of last year 3 or so.Wins don't matter as much as the progress of the team with Luck behind center. This team can suprise but also be in the top 3 or 4 worst in the league for sure.Next year is going to be a much more accurate indicator of future success than this year. They went from 3-13 to 13-3 with PM in the second year.

The Jags beat us twice last year so there is litle rationale putting them behind us.They have a pretty good young D and their QB Gabbert, although he isn't all that good, will have a year of experience under his belt.It could be a tossup who is worse.

Not sold on Denver .They have mediocrity at WR,which PM has never dealt with before.Good defense.PM has not played in 2 years,a lot of times a player out that long is not the same upon return. If I was him I would have went to Arizona with Fitzgerald and that WR core.Instead he choose ol horseteeth.

Patriots are way too high.they lucked into the Sb with a horrendous division and schedule last year ,and a should have lost to Ravens in the title game.At 2 that is a joke.Ravens are too high, they are old, last year too me was their last real shot for awhile. That D is too old and will break down sometime soon. The Bengals are on the rise and i like them to be the Steelers main competition starting this season. They are at least a top 12 team, maybe a top 10 with a good defense and a good Qb and budding star wideout Green..Not sure if the Bears are that good, but they can be.The Lions are clearly better than the Broncos,i don't care if they have PM or not.Lions should be higher.Giants are hardly the best team, yeah they won the SB,but the best team doesn't always win it.They just got hot at the right time like the 06 Colt's.The Falcons are better than 16 ,more like 10 or 11.The Colt's are not 30 either, most the players they got rid of were no longer contributing anymore, this is a typical example of lazy journalism.Kind of like my White Sox being penciled in with 67 wins, and they will have at least 11 or so by next week.I think our ceiling is 18 and our floor is 28.The Bucs have made a lot of gains, changed coaches, free agents being brought in,I would be shocked if they were in the bottom 3,they should be around 500 I would say.Saints are a very good team, better than SF and NYG,should have made the Sb last year. They should be top 4 easy. The fact this writer voted repeatedly for the Ravens of 2000 as GOAT team throws all his credibility out the window. They could easily be one of the greatest D's ever but the offense was pedestrian at best.

Things change every year, i don't know who will be worse any more than I know who will be best, though I'm pretty confident the colts wont be a bottom 5 team.

My guesses would be, Miami, Cincy, Arizona, Jax, Minny, Brownies, Rams, Seahawks, Oak, Bills, Wash, Tampa, Carolina, Tenn, Jetz, could all potentially have worse years. Obviously not all, but I don't think this upcoming year will be a exact repeat of last season.

The main thing will be how well Luck plays. If he's middle of road to bad were Sol.

Mahagga,
I disagree.
PM hasnt delt with mediocore WR huh? What do you call Blair White, Pierre Garcon, and Austin Collie? All three are mediocore. Only good wide reciever PM has had since Marvin is Wayne.
Broncos have an all round better team than the colts.
