lol no he should not be considered. But, he is "the best receiver of all time".![]()
Dude doesn't seem like his head is in the game too half the time to me. And 0-2 in Super Bowls........no way!!!!! I almost feel he is a jinx now.
May the odds be ever in the Colts favor.

Like Jules said, "Dude doesn't seem like his head is in the game too half the time to me. And 0-2 in Super Bowls........no way!!!!!"
I don't want Randy Moss within 50 miles of INDY. Perhaps, he is exceptional at film study, but when the game is on the line Mr. "Straight Cash Homey" is anything but money baby. Forget Moss.

I'd rather the Colts just run the option, never pass, have no WRs, than have Moss on the roster. I live in the SF Bay Area, and saw him "play" for the Raiders, and all year on the Niners this season. He is done. Speed gone, hands gone, arms short routinely over the middle when those rare moment happened... He's done.

What is with all the WR threads? We are pretty well set at receiver, no way we sign some dude who is way past his prime. Younger and faster is the goal here people. Randy Moss does not fit either
The plan is to sign every WR available and convert them to a position of need.

I'll take Fleener over Moss thank you.
I second this. I expect our new OC Pep Hamilton to make Fleener a factor like at Stanford and expect the 2nd year jump in production from him in yards, catches and red zone TDs.
Improve the trenches on both sides, and get a DB or two in free agency, we should be division winners again!!!

I'd still take him in a heartbeat. I heard all the same crap about Moss before. Well, the Patriots picked him up and how many records did he and Brady break?

That was years ago also. Dude is done. Would rather have a you g raw propect like Kelley to see if we can coach him up than moss. But to be honest I hate moss with a passion also.

This is a prime example of a thread about a player that somebody wants based solely and completely on name alone. Forget the fact the dude is 100 yrs. old and so far past his prime it's ridiculous.

I didn't want Moss on the Colts when he was in his prime, much less now. Do you think that the Colts are a couple of aging FAs away from winning it all?
I'll also note that the notion of getting him "just for the red zone" is flawed. The entire point of Randy Moss is to stretch the defense. If he was a specialist it would be at any point in the field other than the red zone. However he hasn't done much stretching recently that I've noticed.

Okay, I'm guessing this thread was a bet, right? You wanted to see how many "NO's" you'd get before it fell off the first page?
Come on, fess up.

I'll take the 6'6", 250 lbs, young, team player in Fleener over the 6'4", 210 lbs, old, me-first player in Moss.
When Bob Sanders was 12, a cobra bit him in the leg. After 4 days of excruciating pain, the cobra died.
Tom Brady can throw a football pretty far. Bob Sanders can throw Tom Brady even farther.

Randy Moss is a complete waste of a contract... Even if he can still play (which I doubt, but I doubt it every year) he is locker room poison. We would all have to hope that the other players ostracize him to the extent that his subpar work ethic has no chance to spread to the young guys on the club. I wouldn't sign him for the minimum, even if we were down to PS players going into the playoffs...

As far as Moss-NO NO NO. As to our Receiving Corps, If Reggie goes down, our Receivers become irrelevant. Do not mention Hilton to me as IMO, he is a short Randy Moss. He is a Slot receiver and nothing else.
