Where do you think he lands?
Kansas City seems like a viable option now that Andy Reid is there. Maybe the Jets.

Blows my mind that someone is going to pay him big bucks, but it will happen.
Thought I'm not sure Andy Reid wants to hitch his wagon to Vick for a second time.
Can't really fault Vick for that abysmal O-line in Philly though. KC already has a great line and if they were to use that #1 pick for Joeckel than Vick would probably have a great season. Especially in that weak division.
Just imagine the Vick/Jamaal Charles read option.

Might as well start a thread on it now. The rage it would cause would be hilarious. ![]()

He's just injury prone IMO. His style is only going to get harder to maintain as he gets older and older.
I'm not sure a better Oline will change that, because his worst hits come from scrambling.
True, he's definitely undersized and his age isn't helping, but I feel that if he were to land anywhere, KC would be the ideal spot.

Maybe the eagles resign him for less money. It seems chip Kelly would want him more than most
The Eagles were expected to sign Charlie Batch Dennis Dixon as well. Maybe that's the guy Chip wants.

I though Chip liked to run the 'fast break' offense not the 4-corners.' ![]()

He'll go to the runner up in the Alex Smith Sweepstakes.

Jets.....just sayin

Well the last time Vick was "released" it was a good thing for him. Now, I guess... not so much. ![]()
I don't think he ends up with the Jets (not enough cap space, and too much money committed to the position already) or the Chiefs (Reid had to have learned his lesson). It would have to be a desperately desperate move of desperation by a desperate team.
Welcome to Arizona, Mike!

He's not going to be released yet but I could see Arizona taking a look at him.

I don't understand the Eagles' position here. If they are going to release him, why would they wait until after they pay him another $3m?

Mike Vick just needs to do commercials with Leon Sandcastle they both look like old Falcons past there prime only Uglier .

Vick has yet to have a GREAT season in his career and thats with having an elite LT in Jason Peters the last 3 years, Phillies O Line was nothing especially good but having Vick makes your O Line worse, if Vick starts a whole season its basically a given he will take at least 30 sacks do to his scrambling nature and holding onto the ball not to mention its all but guaranteed (given his track record of only doing it once) that he wont play a full 16 game season, yes I know he played 15 games 3 times but I dont think Howie Roseman said to Vick "Now we want you to play 15 games per season of mediocre football"
Posted 06 February 2013 - 02:03 PM
If the eagles want to win in the relatively near future then they have to move on from Vick
Posted 06 February 2013 - 04:15 PM
Vick's best career year (2010) was no better than what Wilson, Luck, or Griffin did as rookies. He's not shown the ability to repeat that performance, he's not a guy who is worth big money, and I'd say at this point he is an average QB at best.

Not a starter in my opinion, a guy that can come in and win you some games but not do it consistent enough to be a starter

He has stated he won't renegotiate his contract. I personally wouldn't pick him up, but sure that some team will. I would be hesitant to sign him as my starter with limited future and not sure how susceptible he is to being a backup.

Cutting and resigning isn't renegotiating. The eagles still might offer more than anyone else
you are quite right. feel he is entering that time of his career where his options and choices are getting fewer

Exactly right, GoPats. Jets are cash strapped & Reid isn't making the same mistake twice. AZ or bust. No other takers unless Vick agrees to be a backup QB.
