In answer to those asking how many "likes" they are allowed per day, I think the answer is 20. It used to be 15, but it was raised to 20 at the beginning of the season. Nadine, please correct me if I am wrong.
On a site such as FaceBook, the numer of "likes" is unlimited. But, unless someone kept a tally of how many "likes" each of their friends received every day; there is no way of knowing who has more "likes" than another.
Here, every "like" adds a point to one's reputation. While that can be a good indicator of someone who has made great posts, that isn't necessarily true.
For example, let's say that I am a Raven's fan. I make 20 posts per day. Those who are Colt's fans (and fans of the other 30 teams) here may not like my posts and even think at times that I am trolling. But, if I have another Raven's fan friend; he/she could like every one of my posts which would send my reputation up 20 points each day. Add another Raven fan or two, and that reputation could go up very rapidly.
There have been many posts lately questioning why there is a limit on "likes". So, I applaud Nadine for reaching out to all of you for your input.
Of course, another answer could be that we up the number of "likes" again; but I think that given time, there would be some who are not happy because they only have 25, 30, 35 . . . "likes" per day. I'm not sure myself what the answer should be, but I do appreciate all the input that has been given.
