Once again, he refuses to accept an NFL HC position.

"As much as people talk about his football IQ, I think it's still underestimated. I've never met a guy like Andrew Luck at this stage of the game.”

In a world where kids have to sit out a year before they can tranfer, and coaches can jump to a new school when they are :Shown da money" Chip Kelly is soooooooooo refreshing to me!
Loyalty is a strong word, and it does not mean much anymore. I retired after 22 years with the same company......I wish we still saw the Roger Staubachs, Terry Bradshaws and Dan Marinos of the world who stayed with the same team their entire careers......and I will add my personal favorite...Ray Lewis to this list......sad he is retiring even though the Ravens beat us.......so is the life in the

Indeed. Going on 20 myself, looking for 6 more here. No way I jump just for more cash...
Kelly must know what he is looking for in the NFL and not finding it.

I applaud you for your loyalty! The vacations are a plus too
I really did not see Kelly calling Cleveland his NFL home......You just cannot beat the beaches of Lake Erie in December and January! ![]()

LOL, that's what I heard too. But the gales of November on Superior are more 'uh... noteworthy'. Or at least melodic...

Can you blame him really? I can't. He told Tampa Bay to hit the road, and now Cleveland. He knows that he would be coaching teams that are little to no talent and would screw it up with a bad draft. Outside of that, why leave Oregon when you're having so much success?
