We CAN shut down ray rice. And hopefully we do it with Redding and Johnson back.

I think this could be one of the most under rated stats of the game on sunday. No one has said anything about it. Foster is a really good back! No doubt about it. And we did it without Redding, or Johnson and I believe Johnson has helped with the run game all year long..They only gave him the ball 16 times. He averaged over 6 yards per carry

So in short, Houston layed another egg. Next thing you know they'll ask their QB to do a "rosencopter" to keep things interesting. Gary Kubiak really needs to be fired. Wade Phillips and Arian Foster saved that man's job.

Kubiack is not the problem. I blame the fact that outside of Andre Johnson, there really is no other Threat at WR. They need more Weapons on that Offense. And more depth on Defense. Kubiack is a good coach, he's the last person I'd blame

i hadn't noticed it until just a little bit ago, but the offense scored 7 points in each quarter
Colts 7 7 7 7
Hou 3 3 10 0

They only gave him the ball 16 times. He averaged over 6 yards per carryOur offense and special teams forced them to play catch up. So yes, it wasn't all because of the defense.
But to the OPs credit, Foster got most of his yards later in the game.
We contained Foster, we didn't stop him though.

Ray Rice = MJD = Scares me for this game.
eh, maybe. FWIW Rice has looked bad this year. Missing the century mark in 12 of 17 games this season. He has also only scored 9 times this season.
I"d rather face Rice than MJD any day of the week.

It's true he hasn't been himself really. But those small, fast, downhill runners scare me lol.
I've been a Colts fan too long not to have some trauma from MJD

He probably would have broken it if we hadnt had a 9:30 sec+ drive to eat up the 4th quarter. That was one impressive drive.

I remember Amani Toomer was bashing the Colts Saturday before the game because "Luck turns the ball over way too many times for them to win" and "the Colts can't stop the run". I'm so sick of the lack of respect for this team. They respect the situation with Chuck but all they do is bash our team statistically. I remember somebody saying that the 4th quarter comebacks aren't that special because Luck "puts them in those situations". In other words, Andrew Luck, defensive back for the Indianapolis Colts, cannot stop other teams' wide receivers and runningbacks from scoring.
WELCOME HOME CHUCK!!!

Will shave my neck beard when Luck and the Colts win a playoff game.

Gary Kubiak isn't going anywhere, nor do I think he needs to.

I think we did a pretty good job on Foster. Tackled well, and aside from two carries, he didn't do much damage on the ground. Take out the 39 yarder and he averaged 3.8 ypc. That doesn't erase the big carry, of course, but aside from one play, we were pretty strong against him.
