Confidence levels over beating the Chiefs?

A tad uneasy.

Arrowhead is a tough place no matter how bad the Chefs are. They also still have talent despite their dissapointing season.

Not to mention the fact there is no pressure on the Chiefs while alot of pressure will be on these youngin Colts.

Like I said, root for the 49ers to beat the Patriots.

Texans will rest their starters for a half if they have clinched HFA and have nothing to gain in that last game. I bet they will.

Our best bet to win is always at home, so whatever makes it easy for us, I am all for it.

Heck no chad. We need to beat the Chiefs. I don't want it coming down to a divisional game unless disaster strikes. Besides, even if Houston plays starters so what, we can compete.

We need to beat KC in KC. And I know it's a tough place to play but we have played in a lot of tough places this year.

If we cannot beat arguably the worst team in football in order to secure a playoff spot we might be in trouble.

I don't care what the score is, get the win. I know the team will feel the urgency.

It's gonna be a long week waiting for this one. And I just decided we will win. I decided the same early on about the Lions game too and then didn't think about the game much until it happened.

I don't think it matters much to me what happens with NE/Houston and all that other noise. We just need to take care of business in KC, period.

Confident but not complacent.

We just faced down the strongest team in the AFC and although we didn't provide the upset, we kept it competitive, in their house. Our run game looked great, as did our run defense. With Dwayne Bowe on IR, we have only got Baldwin who could bring issues. And Jamaal Charles will have a test against our suddenly stout run D.

I have high hopes for the last two games.

If I were forced to place a bet on it, I would bet on the Jets and Bengals both losing one anyway, but I would rather wrap it up in KC and hopefully head to Baltimore.

Despite their road record, it might be better that this game is being played on the road.  At home, as favorites, there would be a ton of pressure.  They might be better off going into this with a bit of an underdog/road warrior mentality.

Man...hard to say I am confident that these young Colts are a sure bet to win any game.  They are capable of losing to any team in the league in my eyes despite our 9-5 record.  We are young and inconsistent particularly on the road so while I expect the Colts should win...I am far from saying I am 100% confident that they will.

Chiefs have a sorry record but they do have Romeo Crennel who gave Peyton fits for years going up against the rookie Luck who will be seeing his defensive philosophies for the first time.  Additionally, the game is away at Arrowhead stadium, a very tough venue to play in regardless of who you are.  Chiefs are trying to play spoiler and have nothing to lose.  All the pressure is on the Colts in this one.  Hopefully they will be up to it.

After today....a bit uneasy. Our oline was horrible as always. Luck needs protection from those front guys and hes not getting it. Just cause the Chiefs are a losing team, doesnt mean they cant win. Its what Colts and Chiefs teams show up on Sunday. I m rooting for a Colts Win!!!

KC is competing in the blow for Barkley sweepstakes, along with the Jags. Something tells me we can beat them, they where shut out by the Raiders today.

Colts just need to go in there, establish dominance and try to play somewhat error free and it should be a win. Then they need to beat Houston at home for some payback.

Remember the 14-0 Packers. We need to pack a lunch and come ready to work. Take no chances. Don't get the least bit confident about beating them until the final gun sounds and we're up on the scoreboard.

I did think of that too but then I thought to myself, "Are you really comparing these Colts to the defending SB Champion Packers who started 14-0 with that offense?."

And I said nawww. I know the Chiefs can be sneaky and I don't care if we win 3-2.

But, no way are we going to be as complacent as last years Packers who fell right into that trap game.

I don't think overconfidence will be an issue with this squad. I fully expect us to beat the Chiefs next week and not give them the chance for any kind of upset. That team's packed it in and we've got so much more to play for. We made mistakes against Houston today that cost us, but we showed we could play with them. KC's not on that level. Plus, our guys know how to bounce back after a loss.

With Pittsburgh losing, a win by the Colts in KC practically guarantees the Colts will face the AFC North winner, not Denver(or New England should they lose tonight).

One win by the Colts, one by Baltimore, and they are practically guaranteed to play Baltimore, I believe.

KC is probably playing for the #1 pick more than to be spoilers... Our guys will bounce back... we haven't lost back to back games yet this year, have we?

true, they could snag barkley with the first pick of the 2nd round.

Strength vs strength - our run D vs their run O. I like the Colts' chances vs the Chiefs that we will limit Charles.

Even if it is a close win, a win is a win. Just goes to show you how big the win at Detroit was. It is hard getting wins in December. Just making the playoffs with 10 wins would be AMAZING for me!!! :)

I dont think the Steelers or Bengals will win the division, it is still the Ravens' to lose, IMO.

Ravens have traditionally played well vs the Giants and I think they beat Eli at home next week.

Regardless, it is the AFC North we will most likely face and both Arians and Pagano have ample experience in the AFC North, that will bode well for us, IMO.
