Apologies if this has already been posted....   looked around but didn't see it....

Justice and Satele aren't even traveling to Texas...

Shipley and Linkenbach will start for them.     So, Link gets the dredded assignment for J.J. Watt.   That could be a long, Long, LONG day for Link.    I think we can look for a TE to be on that side all day long chipping and blocking.

Good luck to Andrew and the Boys....

I think this probably helps, marginally, but the overall depth of this line is paper thin. Can't take one more injury on the line or at RB..

Feel bad for Satele and Justice but Shipley is an upgrade at Center and as if Andrew has not been hit enough this season, Does our coaching staff really have to put Link at RT again. Take your chances with Sowell, keep Linkenbach at Guard

Looks like Conner is out too.

I agree, I'd rather have Link at G.

feel bad for Conner, I do like Fokou though in the rotation. Neither are that good in coverage

LT-Castonzo

LG-Seth Olsen

C-Shipley

RG-Mcglynn

RT-Linkenbach

I'd put Sowell in instead of Olsen and we could reallyyyyyyyyyyyy use Hicks right about now

Seeing Seth Olsen starting and Linkenbach at RT makes me wince for Luck. This is going to be a really hard, bad day for Luck I believe.  The ONLY hope the Colts have is if BA allows Luck to make quick, shorter throws.  But I think he is too hard headed to do that.

Reitz should be back at LG, which would help.  We have to game plan against Watts because nobody on our offensive line can handle him.

Watt plays all over, but to my knowledge,  mostly at Left End.   I think Link will see plenty of him....

Board Operators,  any idea what is going on with the software?    Posts are not formatting properly....

Yes. Joe practiced all week. I'll take him over any of our other G's.

I hope the coaching staff studied the Pats protection plans. I don't think Watts even had a tackle, much less caused any pressure.

ah thats right Reitz back

LT-Castonzo

LG-Reitz

C-Shipley

RG-Mcglynn

RT-Linkebach

Although I'd consider Mcglynn at RT and Linkenbach at RG. Linkenbach has no business at RT and Mcglynn has experience there even if it was 3-4 years at college, couldn't hurt tp try. cant be any worse then Link at RT in the NFL

Arians just doesn't seem like he wants to go the Essex route for some reason.  He'd rather stick with good ole Olsen!

@mchappell51: For #colts, Angerer starts for Conner. Reitz back at LG, Linkenbach at RT, Shipley at C, Lefeged at S.

Why in the world would they want hicks ? He's been cut by five different teams this year. Obviously not good enough to stick anywhere.

I fear for Link and Reitz. Even though Link played decent for Justice after he went out, I generally think that when he starts at RT, things will go south for the offense. Reitz is coming back from an injury and I think it could be a Justice-like game for him, where he plays flat after coming back.

Lefeged has done well while taking over for Zibs. He still needs a lot of work in pass coverage, but he is good against the run and isn't afraid to hit people like Zibs was in running situations.

Isn't Angerer fighting through an injury? I think I heard he was fighting through an injury for the team. If that is true, I give him a lot of credit for wanting to fight with your teammates and trying to save your job.

Double team Watt on every play with McGlynn and Linkenbach. Shipley can handle the nose and if Reitz is playing he can handle Antonio Smith. Dwayne Allen will be staying in to block on a lot of snaps on Sunday.

Shipley should be fine but I dont see Reitz handling Smith for a full 60 minutes, Smith had a good game against him last year in game 1 recording a sack. I think using more Zone Blocking plays would help against the Texxans 3-4 with Luck rolling out and throwing short completions until the Texans bite on one (mixing in the run while we do this to) and take a few shots down the field that way, At least thats what Im hoping for. Make Merciless try to cover Allen to from time to time....I dunno. Thats just what I would do to keep as much pressure off of Luck as I can with our O Line the way it is

I'll be honest I am more concerned to us being down to Ballard only at running back in terms of guys who have played a lot this season than I am with the injuries to Conner or Satele and Justice.  I think we have proven back ups at the other three spots.  We don't really know what we have behind Ballard.  Moore was on the roster at the start of the season but really only played on third and long and was only asked to carry the ball once or twice I think.

I wouldn't be telling the truth though if I didn't say the idea of Link (who is having a good season) going up against Watt does give me some cause for concern.  However I would have concern if Justice was going up against him too.  I don't think the fall off from Justice to Link is that great it's not like going from Manning to Painter for example.

Thank You Peyton! I look forward to the day you come home and we get to do this good bye thing right!

You know, I would agree wholeheartedly on the rollout idea, but I don't think we've done a single designed rollout all year. There's not a better way to neutralize a strong Dline than an athletic QB selling the run and rolling out to give him an extra couple seconds. Not sure why we haven't seen these.

OK: Today is a new day. I went to a blood draw yesterday on a fasting blood draw. I did what I was told as usual and they could not draw blood. I drank 3 cups of water, sat 30 minutes...still no blood? I found out a couple of weeks ago I was heartless...now bloodless? I guess we have proven what we have known all along!! :)
