According to ESPN, Following the December 2 Cowboys-Eagles game Owner Jerry Jones "encouraged" NT
Jay Ratliff to come back from injury which prompted Ratliff to verbally assault the Owner/GM.

Wow!!! To have been a fly on the wall..... :) Wonder if he mentioned Jerry's lack of success as a GM? :heh:

Anyone that tells Jerrah to leave them alone is cool in my book. Worst owner in the NFL, period.

This sounds a little like the confrontation between Tomlin and Roethlisberger when he was injured. "Encouraging" players to take the field if they don't feel that they are ready is never a good thing.

2 Championships would provide a pretty good argument that he is not the worst owner in the NFL, 12 Playoff appearances since he took over in '89, Worst owner-Bill Bidwill-47 years as owner of Cardinals-5 years in the playoffs, 3 times since 1975- Both of those is a special kind of suckage

He had Jimmy Johnson as his head coach and fired him for Barry Switzer. You can dwell in the past all day, but look at what he has done to that team since he fired Johnson. He's slowly ran them in the ground. The Cowboys never went this long without having a Super Bowl appearance. Who in their right mind would push Jimmy Johnson aside anyway? Only Jerrah.

Cardinals have been to the Super Bowl more recently than the Cowboys though. They aren't going to be doing it again for a long, long time though lol.

For the past decade plus some, cowboys are middle of the pack in wins. Far behind all the great teams and behind some teams that would surprise you. Jerry likes his money more than winning.

Bottom line owners need to let gms do the job they do,let coaches coach. As far as pushing him to play, not good, but im sure its all about the money with Jones, not about a career ending,or about a persons life and well being. Most of these players will go if they are able too

Only 1 playoff win explains a lot. They used to be a very dominant force in the 90's, but those days are over.

Sorry folks I will take a hands on owner whos been to the playoffs, as for Johnson being fired that happens sometimes when the owner and coach have 2 different ideas, I dont know what it was over so who knows with that, But I do know Switzer won a SB and also got to the NFC Championship game immediately after he was hired before resigning after going 6-10 in 1997.

theres a problem w/letting the coaches & GMs do their job in Dallas. J. Jones under minds Garrett's authority
