Grand Bay - Westfield
Kings County, New Brunswick
POP. 5,117
Grand Bay originally founded by Samuel de Champlain who named it Grande Baie.
Westfield named after Westfield Ma. where some settlers came from,
also that it sits on the west bank of the Saint John River.
Became Town of Grand Bay - Westfield after 1998 amalgamation.
I was born in nearby Saint John,my wife and I moved to Grand Bay in 1976 to get out of the city.
