You should have heard it last week when I told so many people how bad this Saints defense was.

"We stop the run"

"You can't say that, we were stopping the pass against SF"

"We're not all that bad!"

Yeah not all that bad, and you get gashed for 52 points today, OH the irony! "We're still gonna make the playoffs!"

This Saints defense is AMAZING. Let me guess, they'll blame the refs or someone else for this game. I'm not complaining about the Giants running the score up, I'm actually laughing over here how pathetic this defense is and Saints fans have the nerve to defend them and call people like me band wagon jumpers for telling the truth.

They have been pretty bad all year. But, I thought the offense might carry them without Payton and still make a run. Well I was wrong on the Saints and that stupid dream I had that they went to the SB which clearly was in reverse like a lot of dreams I have that are not Colts related.

Anyone who ever complains about the Colts on this forum should just watch a few Saints games and realize it's not a bad as we think it is........

And yes Saints fans might still think they are getting in at 8-8 Bogie so you might need one more loss to put this season to sleep for them.

May the odds be ever in the Colts favor.

Yes Colts fans, WATCH THE SAINTS DEFENSE.

You will FOREVER be grateful that you don't have 2 clowns in the secondary who just sling their body forward and don't know how to tackle.

You'll also be grateful you guys don't drop picks when you need them or get gashed for 50 yard gains on the ground, or constantly get burned by deep ball thanks to the secondary not caring who catches what.

And BTW it's even more embarrassing when every other Saints fan I know, is still caught up on conspiracies, and how "we can still make the playoffs" This team is 5-8 and they really still want to make the playoffs. You should really hear them after all this how "we're gonna go into the playoffs and beat the 49ers in Candlestick" even AFTER they smoked us and beat us down in the Superdome.

This team deserved to have the score run up on them today after how bad this defense has looked all year, and for Saints fans to still say "we can go to the playoffs and win on the road" I guess it's the comedy of the year around the league, cause I know other fans are laughing at us.

Outstanding, they aren't even blaming this on the defense, they are still talking about bounty gate, blaming Goodell, blaming the refs.

This defense is AMAZING.

The sooner they leave the scene for this year..the better....

It would have been a crime if that bunch made the playoffs in a criminal year//

I'm still 98% sure if yall played us it would not be pretty for us. We might have the better record and I'm proud of what my team is doing, but ya'll are still the better team imo.

Luck would shred our defense to pieces, and you'd probably rush over 150 yards on us. Just watch our defense. No one knows how to tackle. In the mean time I have to hear Saints fans brag about how "great" Harper and Jenkins are despite how terrible they've been this season. 1 missed tackle from Harper leads to 35 yard gains. One missed tackle by Jenkins is a huge completion.

They get on my nerves worse than anything. It's never the defense's fault with Saints fans, it's always some stupid conspiracy theory with the refs or the classic "We can't win without Payton" This Colts team is winning without Pagano and that goes in one ear and out the other!

Ya'll are def having a very non fundamental season that is for sure. But I definitely would not be happy when playing ya'll. You are still the team that gave ATL their first loss.

ATL is overrated. Easiest schedule in the league, and we weren't the first ones to expose them this season. Newton single handedly destroyed that defense Sunday, Panthers 400+ yards on them. Watch them get blown out bad in the first round of the playoffs like they do every time they make it. My money is on the Giants or Niners totally destroying that one dimensional passing game of theirs.

No matter how much you hate that guy, Gregg Williams did bring out more from this D but he did wear his welcome out.

Spags needs a good D-line and he does not have the NASCAR package that he had with the Giants. Giants just proved it by winning SB without Spags. It is the talent on the Saints' D that needs some re-shuffling, IMO. Heck, if they had played a basic Cover 2 more often like the Dungy & Caldwell days, they probably would have given up less points and yards, IMO. Sometimes, simplifying things might be the best solution to avoid stinking it.

When Williams was here, we also had major problems. We were in the bottom 5 on total defense last year, yet some how in 2010 despite being horrible on the turnover ratio, we were in the top 10 on defense. There really hasn't been so much of a difference of last year's defense and this years. We had blown coverage a lot, one missed tackle would lead to a 30 yard gain, only this year it's 10 times worse.

Agreed they need re-shuffling. I tell people this all the time, Jenkins and Harper need to go. That secondary is a joke. The only one that really tries out there is Patrick Robinson, and he gets burned a lot on deep balls, and is responsible for many pass interference calls. Just the effort in Jenkins and Harper on tackling, is pathetic. That Atlanta game was worth a million words when Turner broke off those runs and they just slung their bodies or hit him with their shoulders, not even trying to wrap their arms around him. That's one reason it takes 5 guys to tackle someone in a Saints game, they act like their scared they will get hurt if they wrap their arms around someone to drag them down.
