I just read that Andrew Luck has won more games (8) as a rookie QB starting the season. However, will he be able to hold the record until the end of the years, as Russell Wilson of Seattle has 7 wins and Robert Griffin III has 6 wins?

This is a very strange year. No rookie QB has ever taken their team to the playoffs in their first year starting from game 1. There is an outside chance that there could be 3 this year.

The final question is this..Will this year's crop of rookie QB's compare, or surpass the 1984 QB draft?

Thoughts?

Proud to be a Colts fan this, and every year. Thank you for the great season!

The 83 class isn't going to ever take a backseat to any class, especially considering the generational impact the 83 class had on all of the sports media types who shape opinion.

As far as I know Andy Dalton won 9 in his rookie season. Perhaps he wasn't a starter from day 1....don't know...Maybe I'm wrong.

Starting from game 1 means nothing really.
Roethlisberger was 14-1 as a starter his Rookie year.

Being drafted #1 has real meaning of course as you are going to a definitely Bad Team.
Roeth, drafted at #11 to a team coming off a down season with HOF`er Jerome Bettis & a typical Stout D to carry the load, of course didn`t have to carry the load.

We Colts Fans are watching one of the Wildest Rides a bunch of thrown together vets & Rookies has ever brought to the NFL Rodeo. Fun & Amazing!! Yeehaa!

Flacco, Sanchez, and Roethlisberger also won playoff games in their rookie years....don't remember if they started the seasons though.

OK: Today is a new day. I went to a blood draw yesterday on a fasting blood draw. I did what I was told as usual and they could not draw blood. I drank 3 cups of water, sat 30 minutes...still no blood? I found out a couple of weeks ago I was heartless...now bloodless? I guess we have proven what we have known all along!! :)
