This season should be about youth, seeing what we have, so this far into the season is a GREAT time to see what they have learned/what they can do.

This is a tough game for "the next man up." Regardless of who starts, our secondary may not look good and may get judged unfairly after the game.

we get our biggest target(height wise) finally back in Fleener. I feel Fleener is going to have a nice comeback game

To be fair Zibikowski hasn't done too much for us, might do some good if someone can come in and make him fight for his spot.

Joe has looked good on ST, but if he was outplaying Zibikowski in practice surely he would have been stepped up by now.

Still he has an opportunity, I hope he takes it.

i feel like the dude can cause turnovers with his big hitting and somewhat of a hawk in the zone

Thats not necessarily true, Zibs is of the new regime, Lefeged is from the former, that tends to also play a role in decision making

I can see what your saying but he's a young guy who wasn't a "name" under the former regime so you'd hope this wouldn't count against him as much as some.

Either way I hope he does start Sunday and plays well :)

When two guys are about equal, the one with experience is going to play. Especially when the coach knows them better. An unknown backup really has to show something to beat out a starter. Sort of like Bethea did.

same here. if lefeged causes a turnover of some sort, that will definitely push bruce to keep him in alot more in the future

I used to like Zibby but dang he is so boreing and after that interception he fumbled it ticked me off. I hope Joe steps it up and gets the start from here on out... Glad to Davis back in.

Joe has the intangibles to be great, he had two int's as a rookie...I think that gets forgotten as it was such an awful year but Joe shoulda been the starter this year IMHO...

...and that was splitting time with David Caldwell, on a defense that got run on regularly.

I would rather see Fleener become like Gronk than Graham.

Zbi coming from Baltimore, knowing the system better than Lefeged from day 1 is the reason that he started over Joe, and has remained starting. Joe has the potential to be very solid, this is his time to shine and take the starting role, but it's all on him. He's got to overcome what Zbi already has going for him and then some to knock him off that perch.

I really do hope Lefeged never lets Zibby see the field as a starter for the Colts again. Nothing against Zibby, he has played solidly the last couple of weeks. I just think Lefeged is could be alot better....with more upside...and youth..

A lot of people wanted to see Lefeged replace Zbikowski earlier this season. Especially after the Jets game. I hope Lefeged plays well.
